It’s a fun game that brings back absolute nostalgia. I actually bought this for my little brother who was in love with it and was thrilled he got an unopened and complete package. Any hardcore gamer / game collector would have this in their library.
This game is from an era when video games were tough to beat. You are expected to die quite a bit and learn where all of the hazards are, getting a little further each time. Also, this is one of the better looking games on the Genesis/MegaDrive.
Loved this game as a kid, played it a lot, by the same company that did Out of this World/Another world on SNES.
This was my favorite Sega game when I was growing up. When it came out, it was the best looking game I had seen up to that point on a console. I also remember it being the most difficult game I had ever played. It took me months to get past the first stage. For the longest time it became the game that I obsessed over. For years I introduced my friends to this game, and would enjoy watching them both struggle and enjoy this title. When I seen it on retrolio I had to buy it. It was shipped in an orderly fashion. Only problem was my old Sega console was no longer working when I tried to play it. That is why this review is so late. I got ahold of a Flashback Sega system and was ready to play. I spent the better part of the evening playing the first two stages of this great nostalgic game. This is a very interesting action/adventure, cyberpunk, sci-fi game. The graphics are that of an old 1990s CD ROM PC game, but ported onto a cart, It is not your average run and gun side scroller. While you do a fair amount of shooting, there are a lot of puzzles and problem solving, as you make your way through each stage. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good sci-fi game that offers more than "reach the end of the screen", and is a good challenge.
Flashback is a game based on how Connor lost his memory it has good graphics in it and you can save at some spots this game is hard even on easy so you might need to find a book about it or go on you tube are put in a password because you can put passwords in this game so check out this game because it’s good i beat it on the 3do.
