Released in the US as Final Fantasy III, this SNES title is actually the sixth FF game – the previous Japanese titles did not make it across to America and to keep continuity in the series the game was renamed to part 3. Whatever you call it this is one of the most engrossing RPGs of its era. Set in a fantasy world with a technology level equivalent to that of the Second Industrial Revolution, the game’s story focuses on a group of rebels as they seek to overthrow an imperial dictatorship. The game features fourteen permanent playable characters, the most of any game in the main series. Released to critical acclaim, the game is regarded as a landmark of the series and of the role-playing genre.

All this, and your never left behind, so well put together, you never get lost or confused in the storyline. Your always in command, it gives you a sence of power. Can be played by most anyone, but best enjoyed by the veteran gamer. This game, like many other Squaresoft RPG’s is becoming increasingly rare and it’s value is only going up. Out of any RPG (or any genre of game), this game has the strongest storyline of all. Sure the graphics are pretty poor, but they aren’t bad considering it’s SNES! There are many characters to choose from as the story progresses and all of them have different abilities and personalities.I think that FFIII (or FFVI) has the best music out of any FF game as well! Even though it all has a very old midi sound to it, it is very effective and well put together.So many twists and turns happen throughout this game that you can’t possibly get bored. It’s incredibly well done and I have to say that it is one of the best games out there!!! I HIGHLY recommend it.
this was purchased for my daughter’s boyfriend as abirthday gift. The kids tell me this game is epic and hard to find
Final Fantasy VI (III in the US) is considered by many to be the best RPG ever made. It is a very deep game, and will provide countless hours of fun. It is one of my personal favorites in the RPG genre. I highly recommend this game, and it is worth every penny.
Quite frankly, no other game even comes CLOSE to this level of perfection. If you have only played the PSX Final Fantasy games, you NEED to play this. Either buy this game, or Final Fantsy Anthology, or if you’re too cheap, download a rom or borrow it from a friend. ‘Nuff said.

im japanese so i get these games before any of you .FF3 is definately the absolute best FF ever made .Ive played and own every FF that has ever came out and this is definatly the grand daddy of them all. the graphics aren’t so good , but hey,their super nintendo . the best aspect of the game is the storyline. it’s so intrecate and complex.and all of the characters are well rounded for the story.the game is also long in the fact tha there are so many side missions like finding all of the characters and all of the espers. all in all FF3 is definatly a five star game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
