A year later in 1988, Final Fantasy II was released for the Famicom and we never got to experience it until 2003 under Final Fantasy Origins. Well, the PSP version of the game is better than the GBA version and trust me it is the more nervewracking of the two PSP remakes. For one thing, it has a unique way of leveling characters which can prove to be quite innovating for the player. Nonetheless, the game can either be easy or hard depending on how you want to play the game. In my opinion, this game is for those that not only never experience Final Fantasy II or are hardcore fanatics that know what this is all about. Other than that, this is a very good game and regardless I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
This game came in on a timely fashion and its a blast to play , lovin the changes from the snes version of any earlier FF games . Same game play witha few extras.
If you are a Final Fantasy Fan this is a must have for your collection. Turn based Fighting system make battles easy. I love this game.
beat it and i love it!
Great game, the remake added a lot of new things and makes the story much better know I can do many more things now
It’s been a while since I played FFII, but this psp remake (or port actually) really does the trick at bringing back memories.Final Fantasy II it’s a great game, but sadly, it is outdated. I don’t recommend you to try this game unless you know the franchise beforehand since you could be bored easily and also RPG loving is a must before playing the game, if there something you don’t like about the genre “DON’T BUY IT,” this game is old school RPG.
I rate this product five stars because it works properly and it’s just what I wanted. I like this product because I’m a huge fan of Final Fantasy video game series, and I would recommend this to any rpg gamer.
Great Game.
Final Fantasy 2 for the PSP is a Great buy and at the price you can’t go wrong. classic RPG gamers and new ones alike will appreciate this game very much. This game is very challenging and you will have to strategize deeply to overcome a lot of the obstacles.
From a lot of the reviews I had read for this game, I was kind of nervous to attempt to play it. The complaints about the change in the leveling system alone were enough to give me second thoughts. However, I bit the bullet, and boy am I glad I did.First, like the remake of Final Fantasy for the PSP, this game looks great. Yes, it is 2d, but there isn’t anything wrong with 2d games, especially if it is well done, which this is. The members of your party are all unique looking, the enemies were nicely detailed.I was also pleasantly surprised with the one-off leveling change. I guess, having played a couple of elder scrolls games had helped me wrap my head around the idea that the more your party members use individual weapon types or magic, the more their proficiency in each of these areas increase. Although, I have to admit that the adjustment wasn’t immediate. I’m a player that usually likes to conserve spells and take as little damage as possible. In this game, however, it is essential that you take damage during battle, or else it takes forever to increase your max HP.One of my biggest complaints about the first game was a lack of character or story development. I was quite pleased with both in FF2. Yes, there are some plot-holes, and some of the characters are a little inconsistent, or hastily thrown together, but this game was definitely a step in the right direction. And, if nothing else, this was the game that introduced Chocobos to the FF series! So, again t.
