I was very satisfied about ordering this product. It arrived quickly and was cheaper. I only have one issue with the service though; I bought two of them and both were Greatest Hits versions but the display is clearly the black label. Kind of false advertising but I guess its ok. It was fun strolling down memory lane. Amazing game.
First off, let me say that this is my favorite final fantasy game, and i have played 3,6,7,8,10,10-2, and 12. The plot is intense and epic, requiring four disks to complete. took me over 60 hours to beat it, and I was nowhere near 100% game completion. The characters are interesting and multi-faceted. They change over the course of the game and you feel a genuine connection and understanding of their decisions and themselves. However, with modern graphics the throwback can be a bit startling and if you are an extremely graphical person, this might not be the game for you. The pre-rendered cutscenes and backgrounds are amazing though. Another thing that throws people off is the battle system and random battles. It’s classic Final Fantasy, and you either love it or hate it. This brings back the active time battle of final fantasy 7, which can be annoying but also adds a ton to the game. All in all, it’s the kind of game that you either love or hate. If you play games for plot, buy this immediately. If you play only for gameplay, then whether youll enjoy this game just depends on your preference of gaming. Also, despite the general consensus that FF7 was better, I have played both and personally prefer FF8 significantly.Pros:-epic plot, best i have ever encountered.-in-depth, multi-faceted and engaging characters-gorgeous pre-rendered cutscene and background graphics-ridiculously long-combination of love story and saving the world, a final fantasy masterpiece that has yet to be.

Childhood memories were made playing Final Fantasy 8, each year I replayed it I discovered more and more about the story; I highly recommended it!
I enjoyed this game a lot. I actually got it because it is one of my boyfriend’s favorite final fantasy games. It was fun but the graphics weren’t very good. That was expected though since it is an older game for ps1. It wasn’t my favorite final fantasy game but it was still really good.
This game is the best looking FF on the Playstation. The characters actually look like real people not the short elf-like characters of other FF games. The enemies are challenging yet realistic in power. The limit breaks are the best limit breaks of any FF becuz you can do your limit breaks as many times as you want unlike other FF where you have to rely on a gauge. You can refine items to make other rare items, and you can call the shop and buy items any time you want (If you get the summoner Toneberry). This is the first game where you fight some of your summoners before they join you, and they are the most powerful summoners on the Playstation. Now ofcourse the BEST FF GAME IS DEFINITELY FFX but if you are collecting FF games this one is a must have.
love this game. one of the best in the series it is also the game that got me into final fantasy. fun and challenging.
