If you are a fan of fps or adventure games don’t hesitate to buy this one. The environment is absolutely humongous and you can travel anywhere right from the start. For the size of this game I don’t notice graphics appearing out of nowhere as you move, which is usually a problem with other games like this. Gameplay is great and has kept me entertained for a solid week so far and im nowhere close to finishing. They took all the great things from farcry 2, added a cool tropical environment, and made hunting animals a better part of the game as well.
Easy to follow onscreen instructions, and by playing the story you get tutored on all the controls. Easy to use manual also. Lots of fun. Either follow the story or dispatch lots of pirates on your own. Language is rather strong, not for little ones in the area. Highly recommend for those that love 1st shooter games.
I actually bought this on PS3 after getting hooked on Far Cry 4 on the PS4. The game is almost identical to Far Cry 4 just with a different character and setting. You can still hunt animals and just roam around the area, but a mission is always just a short walk away. I love shooter games like Call of Duty and Medal of Honor, but this and Far Cry 4 are right up there as my favorites on PS3/PS4. I couldn’t find a version of this on the PS4, but it was worth going back to the PS3 for this game because it was so much fun!
I would like to start off by saying that I play quite a few games, and that I’ve never played a Far Cry game before, so I didn’t really know what to expect. However, Ubisoft did an absolutely incredible job with this game, like they usually do.I’ve invested SO many hours into Far Cry 3, and I STILL keep finding relics and adding to my tatau. This really is similar to a modernized Skyrim with guns and tattoos and stuff. It’s entirely open-world (the south island opens up halfway through the storyline), and I keep finding things to do.

This is one of my favorite all time games. It is a first person shooter that plays similar to Borderlands, but BETTER. The first time I put it in, every free minute I had was spent playing until I completed the game. I even kept capturing camps, looking for artifacts, and so on after beating the game. A lot of games I will start to play for a while, and then stop and take a long break or never even finish them. I didn’t do that with Farcry 3. I could not stop playing this game, and was actually sad when I finished everything and couldn’t do more.

This is my first Far cry and i have to say, I am very impressed. The graphics are awesome… The story is great… The gameplay is the best. Fight with tigers, leopards, crocodiles, sharks and much more… Kill pirates with great killing techniques!! Hunt, harvest, and kill… Cant get enough of this game!!!
LOVE THIS GAME! I never liked 1st person until I played this game. If you prefer 3rd person RPG I would still recommend giving it a try. Totally worth it.
Love this game. Excellent open-world game with plenty to offer. Having played this game to 99% completion, I can confidently recommend this game to any action-adventure video game fans. Accessible to rookies and veterans alike, this game stands as an honorable mention for both the Far Cry franchise and open-world, action-adventure games in this age when first-person shooters are churned out almost as an obligation each year to whet fanatics’ appetites.Plenty of side quests, a gorgeous map to explore, and a thoroughly exciting narrative kept me playing for well over 50 hours. Accessible stealth mechanics to suit any play style.Even though retrolio shipped me a disc with the wrong country code (the give away was that it was rated PEGI 18 as opposed to M for Mature), the game worked wonderfully. No freezing or skipping here! After only shopping at local store for video games, I can now say my first purchase of a video game via retrolio.com was a complete success.
