Great game, but not mind blowing. Graphics are marginally better than F1 2010 (the last F1 game I’ve been playing), but its to be expected when both are for PS3. The ability to change things on the fly like brake bias and fuel consumption as well as use DRS is pretty cool. I haven’t bought a steering wheel since I don’t play video games all the time, but this game seems like it would be a lot more fun/easier with a steering wheel. I’m so used to a regular controller, so it hasn’t been that big of an issue for me. The cars sound pretty cool. Very much how people complained about the sound of the new V-6 turbo engines compared to the old V-8’s, its all about personal opinion. I personally like the sound and don’t get hung up on it. One thing is for sure, the cars are damn fast in the game.I like the different modes to play in, especially the scenario modes that allow you to practice a bit more than doing time trials before you step up to career or grand prix mode. Scenario mode usually has you running about 3 laps and puts you in different scenarios and tracks that are based off things that supposedly happened in real races. There are also some better camera views for playing compared to the older games, so I like that as well.Not much in the way of music with this game, but thats not a bad thing. Either play your own music or just enjoy the sounds of the car in the game.I probably would give it 5 stars if I had a steering wheel, but its a great game. If you’re a big.
