This is a great game example of a good horror survival game. There’s not too many FPS like this, but this is definitely worth it. Although the loading screens are slow and do get annoying, I still have fun with the game. With mutated doctors at the hospital to possessed corpses at the elementary school, this game is full of suspense. The game isn’t scary, but it’s sure as hell creepy. The controls in the game are easy to get used to, but lacks weapons. There is only a small number of weapons to use and you don’t really get to them till later in the game. Other than that, the game is worth it. Especially for people who enjoy bioshock.
The psychological terror makes for great game play, a well done game with great story line and well executed. Give it a try and you wont be sorry except if you have a bad heart. Just kidding.
If you loved the first fear, like me, you won’t be disappointed. F.E.A.R. 2 delivers the same spine tingling action as the first, but seems to have lost something that kept you glued to the previous. For example, the Slo-Mo feature is still there, but for some reason i never use it, unlike in the first. But this is still cracking good fun as a single player first person shooter.Now, onto the Multiplayer…. this is where the game is really let down; you can’t send invites to your friends, so if you wanna play together online, you have to trawl through tons of games to find the right one! and playing the ranked matches is a complete waste of time, as i realised after a couple of hours of playing, finally i managed to rank up thinkin that i would unlock some cool new weapons or armour, but no… all i got was a lousy trophy on the PS network :(If you’re looking for hours of online action, stick to call of duty. If you want a good single player brawl, then check out the demo on the PS store before you buy, have fun!
great graphics, great sound, great quality for playstation 3 I recommend because is excelent, excelent war, scary scenes very nice.
One of the better horror games of the last few years, and maybe with a couple exceptions, the only real scary game since Doom came out. As of this date, there is not much going online in Fear 2. There is a single player map pack expansion I purchased at PS Store. I seem to go back to the oldies especially for single player horror because there are not many good ones out there these days. I will probably replay Fear 2 single player after I play the expansion to reminisce a little!

I was expecting more from Alma and I got more then I wished for. Awsome title to have in your PS3 library and well worth the wait. I recommend this to anybody who played FEAR at all. Don’t worry the PS3 of the first FEAR was a let down but if you played it for the PC then get this one. If not get it as a rental if you question it. Trust me won’t be let down.
it is grate . all fear games are grate . this fear 2 is right there with the rest of them lot of action.
The good: Great shootouts, weapons, and gore. Some really freaky moments. An ending that will surprise you. Good length for an FPS game.The bad: Online play isn’t up to par. Not as scary as the first one. Graphics may seem a little dated in places.
