I bought this game for myself but my son got his hands on it and I haven’t had a chance to play it yet. He seems to like it alot even though he leans towards RPG’s. He said that it is a lot of fun and the weapons are really cool.

Visually: This game is gorgeous.Gameplay: Controller response is amazing. Campaign is like playing online. Too much like it actually. The bots jump around and camp like any pain online opponent. I’m surprised the bots don’t t-bag.
Awesome game with decent graphics. The controls are easy to pick up so getting started is not a problem. If you like COD4 then you will enjoy this game, especially on XBox Live with your friends. More maps and vehicles with tons of fun to be had. Get it if you enjoy FPS games like I do and join the Frag fest.
First, the flaws:No story. No cut-scenes, just an intro video.On-line network implementation can sometimes be glitchy if you are playing with lots of people.It is *fundamentally a multi-player game*. The “campaigns” are each just three battles against bots, carrying over some earned goodies from one battle to the next.The main problem with the game is that it is made for network play, but internet play isn’t always glitch free.What’s good:It supports system-link. I think it would be a GREAT LAN-party game, and at its low price, you can buy lots of copies.Lots of different weapons and vehicles (land, sea, and air) to learn how to use. Lots of different character classes which have proficiencies at the different weapons, and at completing various tasks.The bots you fight against are almost as much fun to fight as real people. Considering it’s a multi-player game, playing by yourself was done quite well.Level design is good. Lots of choices about how you wish to fight. The landscapes are pretty, if a bit monochromatic, i.e. greenish or brownish. Gigatexture technology means you won’t find any repeating patterns on the ground. Nice.As a *game*, it’s nicely designed. This isn’t about realism. It’s about achieving specific goals in a specific order in order to get the win. There’s no death-match, and no gore, just one team attacks and the other defends. Once the attackers complete each goal, they go on to the next. Each time you die, you can re-spawn as a new characte.
i looked all over the area where i live and couldn’t find a copy until today when i was lucky enough to score the first copy of it at the local Blockbuster. when i got home and played it and i was very impressed with the graphics and weaponry. as i get more familiar with the controls i find that they are very responsive. all i can say is thank you for a great job Id. now can you give us another DOOM this time one that more than 4 people can play at a time?
This game was for my daughter for Christmas she had played this game before and wanted it. This game was a third of the price as a store good deal would buy from them again.
I like most people was starting to get bored of COD4, I went to gamestop on a whim and picked this up. This game really shocked me in terms of fun. Its a Combination of Star wars battlefront, and Frontlines fuel of war. It has the frontlines aspect of frontlines, and the action, of battlefront, it contains many, many vehicles. The graphics are decent, nothing out of the ordinary, however if you cant wait for BF Bad company, then pick this up, it’ll give you hours of fun
This is a great shooter, and is vy easy to pick up and play. While the campaign is lacking, it makes its greatest showing in large online battles, with a vast amount of vehicles and maps its a very good game to own and enjoy with friends.
