in this game,i have an undefeated streak going and i’m not going to lose!!
I played this game before so I bought just fantastic for those who like mixed martial arts will love this unique juego.lo I did not like was that he came with other games and control and the box was great I went very expensive because of the weight came to Venezuela and I put this case very, very big that was really crazy and ordered the separate order not to charge me but high value placed all together and it was a disaster here in Venezuela I conbraron guiltily was partly both. but the game was the best
Great
This game is better than UFC 3. The fighters look and move more realistically and the game play has a natural fluidity that similates combinations and transitions closer to actual fighting than the ufc games achieved. Best fight game on the ps3!
Hands down, this game is better than the UFC games. Everything is smoother and flows just as you would want a realistic fight game to do. No matter how many “improvements” the UFC games by THQ make, they will always feel robotic & like a WWE wrestling game because of their game engine. EA Sports on the other hand uses one of the best game engines around. The stand-up feels very much like the Fight Night games and everything works great, and though I’ve seen complaints about their ground game controls, I haven’t had a problem with it at all. It does take some time to get the hang of it, but playing career mode will help you greatly with that. The only reason I give this game a 4 instead of a 5, is because I’m a little upset that once you finish career mode… you’re done, it’s forced retirement. I really would like the option to keep fighting & be ale to move up & down weight classes with out having to create whole new characters. I wouldn’t matter if there was no more dialogue. Also, I have the same issue with this game as I did Fight Night Round 4… it’s hard to pinpoint why, but the stand-up simply isn’t as good as Fight Night Round 3. Maybe it’s how the controls are set up, but you simply can’t bob & weave while simultaneously striking, as good as you could in Round 3. Or maybe it’s just me, haha.Unfortunately, most people are fans of the UFC not Mixed Martial Arts, and the sales of this game have suffered. However, with Fighter Share in EA Sports MMA, many users online ha.
All I can say is that comparing this game to UFC 2010 it’s much better. I did enjoy UFC, but everything that I had issues with, EA fine tuned. Mostly the submission structure and the training leading up to fights. I actually look forward to the training sequences and find they’re much more enjoyable than simply going through the motions in UFC to get points. While there are some areas that are unrealistic (namely the arcade beatdown sequence when an opponent is down, which is fun), but how ea utalized stamina is perfect for a mma game. If this is their first installment, I’m really excited for their next take.If you’re like me I was leary to buy this game from my experience with UFC. It was fun at first but quickly wore off from submission structure and career mode. EA did an excellent job in hammering in certain styles, which makes the replay abliity much more greater. I had a sense of relief a couple hours into the game that yes this game was worth it. I definitely can enjoy this for awhile without an online experience. My only complaint is there isn’t a whole lot of game modes that UFC had, but they do have various match options which is also a plus.
Dont care for the control system, kinda like fight night by EA, Other than that it has a lot of features making this game worth playing.
When I bought this, I really wasn’t expecting too much from it. The UFC 2010 game was a complete bust as far as career mode and that GOD-AWFUL submission system, so I expected more of the same. Much to my chagrin, this was a really great MMA game. The default controls are pretty meh, but once you switch over to the UFC controls (I don’t know what they’re TECHNICALLY called, but that’s what they are), the game goes from confusing to great. I’m a huge MMA fan, and this has been one of the most replayable games I’ve ever owned. I’ve already traded in the 2009 and 2010 UFC games, and I’ll demo the Undisputed 3 they’re getting ready to release, but if some MAJOR overhauls haven’t taken place, I’ll just keep happily playing EA MMA.It’s a real shame EA isn’t going to stay with this franchise, and that the reception wasn’t better when it was released. This was one time where the advertising for the UFC made scores of people go out and buy the wrong game. This one had real heart and replayability. Ah well. I’ll let you get back to spamming drills to maintain your skills in UFC’s career mode. BOY, isn’t that FUN?
EA Sports: MMA is a great game. I can’t compare it to other fighting games because I have played none. This game has great controls. Using the right stick (straight for jabs, circling for left/right hooks) as a control was a great idea. Also, the inclusion of stamina makes this game feel more real, because you don’t just smash a button on the controller for a submission, I mean, you do, but in controlled bursts, if you flat out smash, you’ll run out of stamina in two seconds and your opponent will escape your submission/you will be submitted. I’m extremely disappointed that there will most likely not be a sequel, since Strikeforce (who was the least obscure league EA could use, because UFC and EA don’t mix well) was purchased by UFC. This game doesn’t have UFC fighters, but there is a way to get around it. The game has a feature called create/download fighter. You can create a fighter, then fight as/against him. People have made and uploaded fighters like Brock Lesnar and Liddel,or at least that’s what I’ve heard, I haven’t really looked into that yet. I’ve played Career Mode, which is extremely fun. You know how these things go, you start small, fight your way to the top. There is also multiplayer, but I haven’t played it yet.All in all: 5/5This game is great, but (probably due to its lack of UFC fighters) this game is not well-known. Oh well, us who have it can enjoy it. Make sure you pick up this game.
