The game is reminiscent of the classic dynasty warrior games hack and slash tactics, except with gundams. There are hundreds of missions and several characters to play with each with a unique mission just for them (somewhat).There is no built-in versus mode but it does retain the co-op mode for missions as well as on-line co-op mode. Story mode no longer exists but is replaced by the original story line along with various history missions.There are also several side stories to play though (Knight Gundam special missions & etc.) as well as the friendship missions where you fight alongside the characters of the series, regardless of it they were on the same side or not.The upgrading system has completely changed from 2. It is both better, but worse. Worse since you don’t get to upgrade parts individually anymore, it’s impossible to have max’ed out stats on everything, and you only have limited number of upgrade slots. Better since selection is no longer random and because you can’t max out every stat, it makes player shave to think a little about what stats they want to put on.The design of each gundam has retained its excellent appearance and has gotten even better. It retains most of the gundam’s and suits including all the transformable suits, however, with the removal of open space maps, there isn’t really much point of having the high-speed transformable suits.Over-all, this game is very fun if you are a fan of the title, namely the gundam series. It does get repetitive af.
My son luvs gundam and this is an interesting game for him that he enjoys. Recomend to any gundam fan.

…you’ll love this. Honestly, I had very low expectations from this game. I thought, Gundam, hey what the hey, this might be fun. In fact, when I first played the game, I was disappointed because, there’s no dual play or split screen 2 player playing of this game when you first play it. It’s after you clear the first mission that you can unlock split screen co-op play. Whew! To think I almost returned it before playing and clearing the first mission.Now I play because, not only is it fun, but I get to unlock new player characters, and Gundam mechs or whatever they call them. I never knew there were so many different Gundams. This is way fun and cool for me.
ok this game is epic. Everything that was wrong with the first two got fixed. missions are repetitive yes partnerships are easier to build. the mobile suit lab is pretty easy to figure out. the graphics are damn good rendering the mobile suits wish there would be more cutscens with fighting. so theres ALOT, ALOT ALOT of characters. 5 DLC characters and 12 DLC missions. Max character level is 50. This game is mindless destroy the little mobile suits rom the gundam franchis a gundam shows up go desroy when bar gets 0 general comes out. destroy you win. so the annoying is getting plans for mobile suits everytime you destroy a mobile suit almost. annoying but slow way making G. G is hard to come buy a lot of fighting needed. the story is just random as all could be but if your playing this game its more for the gundam fan and destruction. Its nice using all the special moves. Jthe characters they add from the franchises us younger fans know. wing and G gundam and seed seed destiny they leave out characters from there. I would have liked to see wufei, quatra, rua la crosse, rei and not have the gundam 00 characters be DLC but you cant get everything. For a new price no but if you can find this game used with good condition for 20 i would definetly buy this. As i did get this game for 22$
I purchased this game for my Grandson as a birthday present. I did ask him about it and he said he loves it. When he has his friends over they all play. Thank you retrolio for having it in stock.
