This is a fun game to play although I ordered this years ago, it is still fun to play with friends and family. The song selection is great a lot of well known songs for a versitile audience.
My kids love Guitar Hero so being able to find everything we needed here on retrolio was perfect. They have been playing non stop and knowing it was all brand new still in packaging was great.

this version has very good graphics (the Wii kind of lacks in that category anyway), the characters are better versions and the song selection (& option to use songs from the other series) is very good
We love this game! We have most Guitar Hero games, and this is definitely my favorite. Love the variety of songs and difficulty settings… much more customizable.
My 9 year old was too young first time around with guitar hero he was very excited to get the game! It came in record time, perfect timing it came on his snow day home from school.

I don’t have a dog in the Rock Band / Guitar Hero fight. We play both series, and when the kids went Wii, so did my RB/GH discs. I’ve been playing just Rock Band titles for about a year and I’d forgotten how much more difficult the Guitar Hero titles are. (My first few hours were spent in Beginner mode!)Pros – Good degree of difficulty, I will never beat this at it’s top level. Ever. Strong song selection, leans toward heavier tracks Comes with a single disc version of Soundgarden’s new best of release Works with Beatles Rock Band equipment after calibration Cheesy but entertaining over the top storylineCons – Includes Rush 2112 (all of it) and a video by the band. 50% of the adults in the house think that’s a reason to buy it, right there. Interferes with other life activities.
