its harder than the regular dynasty warrior games. Kind of a mix of new characters. Story takes a long time lol

I can see that the first review does not do this game justice. As a fan of the series I find this game superb, with dazzling visuals, great audio and epic gameplay. If you love the previous games in the series you’ll like this one. The gameplay isn’t that much different from Dynasty Warriors 6, only there are WAY more enemies on-screen and the number off attacks you can string together is not affected by taking damage, defeating more enemies, etc. The game may seem a little complex and may get repetitive, but basically the pace at which the game moves along depends on the player. There is a tremendous amount of freedom and variety in the game allowing for limitless hours of play.
This is the one, the game with a custom character creator, so You can choose race, sex, & every conceivable look, & even voice for Your’ hero, AND has the ability to have multiple saves in multiple modes, so You can make many… why all of these games don’t have this feature like this, & only one of the PS-4 games does in this awesome game series, is anyone’s guess, but if You like choppin, or slashin the heck out of LARGE groups of enemies, in a timeframe that’s greatest technology is a flintlock, or cannon, fighting in historical, or even battles You setup, all across Japan, then THIS is the game to buy on PS-3!
Love, love, love this game. From the CAW to the graphics.Replayability is huge for me. I beat games to quickly. I’ve had the game for about three years and have barely scratched the surface of playable characters, since everyone is playable. Just a great game.

I bought this one as a gift for a friend, he just love it… cool graphics, fun game to play with the party.
All Dynasty Warriors games are the same – they are simply brainless button mashing games. You are dragged back to the game with its ‘one more go’ philosophy, ridiculous voice acting and hundreds of kills very game with minimal effort. It’s good to come back to after getting frustrated on a section of a different game you can’t pass, so just put DW6 in and mash your way to victory. Think-free gaming at its best. It also has a very easy Platinum trophy to get, should you be interested in Trophies anyway. I don’t care about that, it’s a nice bonus but I didn’t consider that when I bought it.
The only problem I had was the fact that it wasn’t a NTSC game. Nonetheless it is a good game.
The game is good with better graphics than the Dynasty Warriors 6, really nice create a character, and the new weapons look good. Nice work. The only problem is it can get repetative.
