Wow this game has to be the greatest game ever on PSone It is soo much fun though the moves are a bit hard to do once you master them it’s FRESH as hell! I love this game!!! The booklet tells you how to do all the moves but the Meteo Attacks – (Meteo Brute Combo for Tien: Forward, Down/Forward, Down, Down/Back, Back, Forward, square) like for Tein he splits in two and they both start laying the smack down on you wicket style. So find a good FAQ for the game that shows how to do the Meteo Attacks and have a blast.
this is call of dutycall of duty?THIS IS ULTAMATE BATTLE 22!!!!!!!!!!that part was based off 300awesome gamep.s. for all the dude who gave it bad reviewsGET A LIFE!!!!
Amazing
Game worked
LEts get the facts straight right now. Compared to fighting games (both 2D and 3D) of today this game is dated. However when it was first made (1995/1996) this was actually a solid fighting game. Let me explain. When Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Battle 22 was first made it was during the Era that Street FIghter had been dominating, without the Super Moves or Alpha COunters. Mortal Kombat was releasing it’s second entry into the Home market and Dragon Ball Z was shown every now and then on some random networks. Thus the game never saw state side. AS for the game itself it is just like previouse entries in the series with characters ranging from Frieza to Majin Buu. The combat is the same Dpad manuvers that Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat ensued and actually some moves were taken from the 2 (E. Hondas Headbutt, Johnny Cages Shadow Kick) and the projectiles all looked the same with a few noted differences. The only projectiles different are Krillians Destruco Disk, Piccolos SPecial Beam Cannon, Zarbons Eye Laser, ans some of Android 18 moves. As for extras there is nothing hidden here. They give you the code to unlock 5 extra characters in the instruction (3 of which involve GOku) and basically it is a simple fighting game.So considering the time the game was made it is a solid entry. The reason game reviewers in the major magazine bashed it was the fact that it is dated. However it is like I said this was made when Street Fighter 2 was at it’s strongest and Mortal Kombat 2.
This game is awsome!!! Even though it’s extremely easy. The graphics are great for a 2D fighting game. Again like I said it’s easy! I beat it in under a half an hour. There are 5 characters to unlock (including Chibi Goku) but you don’t unlock them by beating the battle mode. They give you the code for the 5 characters in the instruction booklet. Personally I think its way better than Budokai!
This brings back great memories! The copy I received was brand new! Not a scratch, which is awesome considering how old the game actually is. This is a must for diehard fans and collectors. The gameplay is somewhat slow and blocky but still a great piece of dbz history. Buy the old games while you can! they will get harder and harder to find as the years go.
This game is cool. It has great sounds but the background doesnt go with the people. But i still say that its a good game but it gets very boring without a second player. If you dont have a PS2 and you like DBZ games you should get this game. :)If you want to contact me:AOL Instant Messenger: DragoonJetfireMSN Messenger: webmaster@gcsfn.tkYahoo Messenger: sunkenjetfire1
Got it cause I’m a long-time dbz fan, as well as the super-low price as of the time of this review.Came brand-new in-the-plastic, and worked perfectly. Game looks great played on my ps3.As for the actual game–super hard. Even on the easiest difficulty. Blocking is counter-intuitively mapped to the d-pad button opposite of the direction you’re facing. The flying mechanic seems fairly useless. I could not pull off one special move. I might just suck though. lol.If you’re a street fighter, tekken, or mortal kombat veteran though, it will probably be a walk in the park. It’s just not nearly as accessible as later dbz fighter titles like the budokai/tenkaiichi series in terms of difficulty. If you’re a collector though, snap it up.F.y.i. — There’s a code for unlocking kid goku, master roshi, ss3 goku, vegeto, and hercule as playable characters in the instruction manual of the game. Thanks for reading. Have a nice day.
wats so good about it. its not even 3D like final bout is and they got ssj on final bout. every time you fight u can become more of a ssj than not addbance in power.
