Played it on PS3, but wanted to use all the DLC.
Be aware – my code for the DLC said it was expired but when I plugged it into the PS4 store the code was accepted and everything downloaded without issue.Game itself is FANTASTIC!!!!
Played this game when it first came out. After six years, thought I’d give it another play through with all the new add- ons, downloadable s. I read that the codes were not working, out of date, ect. I had seen reviews like that before, and people had [ unknowingly, for example ] purchased a used copy where the code had already been applied. So, I decided to buy the Game of the Year edition on the PS4. nonetheless. Upon opening the box, I saw the piece of paper with the Redeem Code. It said it expires on 10/13/17. About three years ago! Once I had installed the game with my PS4 account, I entered the Code and it was accepted. All the downloadable content, add-ons, item packs were right there. i downloaded all of it into my new game, and was off and playing.
Excellent
Amazing game
Great game. Don’t worry about the game of the year edition’s dlc codes being expired it will work any way(bioware codes work regardless of date)
An amazing game and great entry on the franchise. The story is very dramatic and bombastic, the script is great, new and returning characters are developed and feel very real, in the ways you can interact with them, even romance some of them. and the graphics are amazing, even a couple of years after it’s release.Gameplay feels like a mix between the past 2 games, very fast paced but you need to think things through. The GOTY edition includes every dlc, they are interesting to say the least, and only one of them it’s really important to the story, it’s sort of like a Epilogue to the game, but all of them add a chunk of hours of gameplay to an already complete and long game.
Wonderful, now I don’t have to own all the DLC to play this game now since i’m going through the entire campaign from origins, awakening, to II and now this.
Great open world game as a pretty inexperienced gamer it was fun
So I first played thru all of Inquisition on the PS3, as did many people I’m sure. I knew the day would come when I would finally upgrade to a PS4, and this game, with all of its DLC that has been taunting me for over a year, was at the top of my list. That day has come, and my friends, it’s like playing a whole other game! The graphics are STUNNING, the game play is seamless, and I was able to easily import my PS3 character into the PS4 and pick right up where I had left off.If you’re picking up the series for the first time, just get the Game of the Year edition – trust me, you WANT all of the DLCs, especially since the main story ends…well, let’s say on a cliffhanger. The DLCs give you more maps, more stories, and an ending to said cliffhanger.Oh, and since I had to dig on the internet for it, the order you should play the DLCs in is Hakkon, Descent, then Trespasser. Trespasser is your end-game, and the game does warn you of that. Leave it for last!
