If you plan on getting this game you should really get the xbox original version. I know that for a pc gamer thats out of the question but it is really worth considering. I was quite dissipointed with the main game to be honest but since I had the xbox version, right after I beat it I found out that on the disk there was Doom 1,2 and the doom 2 master levels. That made the game amazing, I dont think that they are included in the pc version so if you have an xbox original I deffinetly recommend getting it on that.
Not much to say. If you love using a shotgun in the dark on monsters you’ll love this game.
After playing through the original Doom 3, I recalled reading reviews that it wasn’t terribly difficult, with the exception of a few boss battles. But that’s what made it great in my opinion. You were more able to enjoy the atmosphere of the game, and even be scared a few (dozen) times without being stressed or overwhelmed by the difficulty of the enemies you faced. Plus, you could always raise the difficulty if you so wished.With Resurrection of Evil though, the bar has definitely been raised. If you had mastered Doom 3, this game would still provide a challenge. All the zombies and demons of the first game are back, along with several new ones. And unlike Doom 3, you’re thrown right into the mix. You’ll be often facing hordes of the more powerful demons from the original, so you’d best have your tactics down. But the real challenge comes from the boss battles. They’re what will definitely cause some key-board breaking frustration in novices to the game, and even some tension with the experts.If you can get past the demons though, you can treat yourself to new, well-designed levels. Though some areas are very reminiscent of the first game, you aren’t exploring the same areas. The ruins you start in are similar, yet different from the first, containing more eerie statues and devices. You explore new areas of the base, including a harrowing trek through a toxic waste tunnel wearing a breath mask. Plus your end goal lies in Hell, so that’s precisely where you’re going. As with.

Very fun game. The Double barrel shotgun is a great addition to the action and I really like the return of all the exploding barrels. I installed this game into Win Vista, and Win7 Beta without any issues or difficulties. If you own Doom3 and love playing it then this game is a must have.

This game totally rocks!! I loved Doom 3 and was sorry to see it end when I finished the game. Doom 3: Ressurection of Evil Expansion Pack allowed me to continue playing. It doesn’t have as many levels since, of course, it is an expansion pack, but it is still a lot of fun. The price is perfect for the amount of levels that you get to play. You do need to have Doom 3 installed in order to play it. It ran fine with out problems and the graphics were great! I would recommend this game to anyone who likes the Doom series.
