This is a good game for families who like to play together. I like that you can play up to 4 characters at once. It CAN be competitive since it “rates” the players against each other at the end. My daughter did get upset a few times because my husband kept getting the highest ratings (of course!) but it’s all just a matter of how you handle that.The game itself is a little bit of a puzzle game. You just have to work with your fellow teammates to figure out what you need to do to move on to the next phase. There are mini competitions and things along the way. You earn new costumes as you complete levels.Overall it is pretty fun and the little guys are really cute.

As far as children’s video games i think it’s great! my son loved it and hasn’t stopped playing it since it got here
This game is fun for adults and kids and follows the usual kiddie game routine of gathering coins/seeking items to complete, and defeating bosses. I love the game beacuse you can earn outfits for the characters and use your coins you gather to buy new outfits/lands to explore. Sometimes there are small glitches that become annoying, for example if you are driving the cannon shooter and it gets near a spike set built, you die and even when you respawn you cannot get on that cannon beacuse it will not respawn away from the spikes. Little things like taht. Overall very cute and it entertains me as much as my 4 year old.
My husband and I play this together and we just love it! fun for all ages. the music in this game is incredible
