Delivered exactly as said it would be. However, the game itself is not for everybody
I did not play the original Deus Ex game but rediscovered it through the director’s cut. I found the storyline deep for a RPG/action game. The action in the game was alright.
Any fans of sci-fi or dystopian futures or stealth action games needs to try human revolutions. The setting and the atmosphere are top notch and the story and themes are interesting. It’s just good sci-fi and futurism. The gameplay is fun with different options to tackle a problem depending on your play style. This version also comes with all of the dlc and the much needed updated boss fights which makes things much more enjoyable. Now you can use your stealthy skills to kill the big bads instead of confronting them directly.
Item was shipped reasonably as far as I can recall, only just now forgetting I never reviewed. The game works and without flaws and incorporates the director’s cut dlx as promised. Recommended selller!
Loving this game so far. It’s like Blade Runner and Ghost in the Shell made into a video game. If you’re into cyberpunk/tech noir, you must play this. Lots of nods to works of PKD, Sterling, Gibson, etc. Soundtrack is very atmospheric, very similar to Burial or Vangelis.Few issues:World needs to be bigger, more open.Button combinations a little inconsistent when hacking. Get rid of the ‘release X’ thing as it doesn’t always work. Just use Dpad.Need ability to drop items into containers. Leaving them on the floor feels messy.Voice acting is top-notch; mouth movement ain’t.Need dedicated map button. Having everything under Back button gets tedious.Need transparent map overlay so I don’t have to stop running to look at it, hence dedicated map button.
So I have bought this game on the PC, PS3, Xbox 360 in disc form, then again on the 360 as a downloaded title. Reason I did this is because you can’t install the Deus Ex Director’s Cut to your Xbox 360 for some reason. Its a known issue and was never addressed. This is a problem because the way Microsoft stopped having Xbox 360s break down so much was having you install the games. My advice is either get the regular version if you want the disc, or download it off the Xbox market, but best to stay away from discs that you cant install. The games amazing though, my favorite first person shooter of all time.
Game was great but all the follow up games do not function on Xbox 360. If I had know this I would not have purchased the game due the fact was not ready at this time to upgrade my game system.
Dues ex is amazing this is my first Deus ex experience and I loved it. It was multiple endings and you can choose the way you want to play either stealth or go crazy with the guns and augments. My game didn’t crash at all like other people say it did to there’s, the loading times are the only thing that is very bad about this game they are all about 40 seconds long and it’s torturous everytime you die or load up a saved game but the story is great lots of other side missions to do I’ve played this game like 4 times and got all the achievements the DLC is good to but your forced to play it with the directors cut because it’s "part" of the story I’ve give Deus ex a 5/5 but the loading screens are long as **** they seem to get longer each time you come across one and you will have to go through A LOT of them once you leave the Detroit area and go to China because it’s required to travel to each city in China because of the story and there is NO fast travel so the first thing I did when I hit China is upgrade the running augmentation because your going to do a lot of running I’ll recommend this to anybody who likes stealth games but the loading times are just like Ryse son of Rome for the Xbox one LONG
perfect
