Love this game. Love all of the dead or alive games. But I love how this one is so different because they’re not fighting they’re hanging out together doing girl things and chilling.
I think the name misleads everybody. It’s not Xtreme in anyway at all. It would have been cool if you could control the characters like in DOA3, but alas, Tecmo took a different turn with this game.Instead, the game plays more like a roundabout ren’ai game. You spend a lot of time playing volleyball to earn money so you can buy stuff, and you can buy gifts for your potential partners. If they accept the gifts, they will play a bit better and thus earn you more money from the score ratio when you win games. The more money you have, the more you can buy for your partner. Fourteen days doesn’t seem to be enough time to gather enough money sometimes, but once you complete it, you can start over again with the same amount of money you finished with, as well as all the suits and accessories you bought with that character.I really liked this game. It went at a comfortable pace (except when you’re playing volleyball), and the hopping game was amusing for a few times. The only annoyance is the fact that the FMVs aren’t subtitled, and you can’t override the default music for them. I highly recommend listening to TUBE’s "TUBEst II" CD with this game, whose natsuyatsumi (summer vacation) J-Pop style really fits with the overall Japanese feel of this game. If you’ve played a lot of Japanese style games and like the genre, you’ll most likely enjoy this one. Granted, it’s not for everybody, but some non-Japanphiles might like this one.
My husband got this game as just a silly present. I, however, can’t get enough! I try to stay away from any video games because they’ve gotten so complicated, so I loved being able to learn this game very quickly. I LOVE the shopping! Although this game seems a bit promiscuous, any girl who likes the mall will love this game! Give them an hour…you won’t be able to get her off of the Xbox.
In this game you can do many things. You can go to the casino, You can go to all different things, you can play a hopping game in the pool, you can buy the person all different accesories like sunglasses and shoes. You can play volleyball in the game, you can buy all different clothes too. So i really recomend this game i play it all the time. So buy it and play it all day…………..and more…………………….
I love dead or alive and I love this game. You can play beach volleyball, relax at the beach or the pool, and also go to the casino at night to play awesome casino games such as poker, roulette, blackjack, and of course- slot machines! It also has a lot of replay value because there are hundreds of swimsuits that you can put on your character or exchange with others, and there are 8 or so girls you can choose from. Also the songs are great too, very hot summer themed! :)

When I bought this game, I thought it was gonna be the greatest sport game ever, but I was wrong…I only bought it because it was never there at blockbuster and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Don’t get me wrong the girls are steamin hot and the graphics are real as hell but this game really has no point to it except for buying swimsuits, swimwear, etc..If you want a good sports game get NHL Hitz 2002 or Madden 2003, don’t waste your money, just wait until you can actually rent it.
This has to be the best sports game in history. Aside from the sleek, slender, super sexy babes, the game looks like it just plays well. You will love this game, and you’ll love the babes in it even more!!!!!

Guilty! I’m a heterosexual female and the first time I played this game, I was just so entertained. The volleyball games are fun and there’s a certain "Sims" feel to it when you start wooing some of the girls to partner with you on a volleyball match. The graphics are just astounding, but I have to say, replay value is not that high. After buying all the swimsuits and being friends with every girl (Even the one you’re inclined to hate e.g. Kasumi and Ayane), there’s just no point in playing this over and over again. The graphics (again) just blows you away. This game was a good reason to buy the XBOX.
