I’m a long time DOA fan since DOA 2 on the PS2, but I’ve always found it weird how only that game had English voice acting. Enter DOA 5, which improves everything over all of the other games. With an improved combat via the power blow feature, full English voice acting, and surprisingly good (for a fighting game) story mode, this is the best DOA title I’ve played in years.
I am a simple man, I saw boobs and I bought it
This game is for the hardcore DOA fans that enjoy the fight! Great slight upgrade over the PS3 version now on PS4 so glad they did port it over. Clean graphics never disappoint, though they don’t begin to use the PS4’s real power maybe the will in part 6. Until then I will enjoy this gem and all its extras. Speaking of which the extra downloads if you choose can get pricey over all but that is my only complaint.

Great Game
Story: Newcomers will have a hard time following the story. Dialogue are mostly cheesy.Gameplay: A lot of people don’t really understand Dead or Alive Fighting mechanic. I will say those who are button masher are going to hate this game. Dead or Alive uses this "Rock,Paper,Scissors" fighting system where there are three types of fighting: Hold/Strike/Throw. In this case: Strike>Throw>Hold>and back to Strike. The tutorial is very well thought out. There’s even one mode where it teaches you combos for each character. Stage Transitions are badass and play more of a crucial role if you want to give more damage to the other opponent.Graphics: I mean it’s pretty clear that this game has a fond for boobs…. literally. And the costumes clearly pander to mostly women showing cleavage or basically put them in a bikini. That being said, each character outfit does look badass or hot.Overall, this game doesn’t hold back for looks. There will be boobs in your face constantly, but the fighting is actually pretty fun once you get the hang of it. The game is worth at most $25. Since the DLC are too damn expensive (yet all the dlc are just basically more costumes for the girls)."
