If u like great dugeons , solid history(OHH my God, the history its just perfect, an the ending 10/10)good combat sistem and nice music and bosses this is the game u should buy, is more than 15 hours long and for sure i will play it again to find everything.the game it self in my opinion 9/10… i personally enjoy this game more than short of war 3 , wich i clear in less than 8 hrs, on hard level the same day i recieved it.
I purchased the game a couple of weeks ago, but it was one of those games I thought “well what the hell, let’s give it a try”.Well at first I couldn’t help it but just like everybody else I also felt this was one more GoW-like game but to be honest I enjoyed it a lot,………………… the graphics, the story, the multiple weapons, the enemies, the bosses, the hidden artifacts, I mean seriously, I couldn’t stop playing.As I played it I forgot about the similarities with other games and all of a sudden it became one of the best games I’ve played.I highly recommend everyone to play it, it’s funny as HELL.I will get Darksiders 2 right away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m just loving this game and was looking to play a Zelda type action RPG game on my PS3 for some time now, Well here it is and color me impressed! I’m still working on completing it but from what I hear you can expect to play 20-35 hours depending on your play style and obsession to collect everything. The art style is amazing and everything is polished and well done. The combat is very God of War like and thats a good thing. I won’t break down the plot or spoil anything but I will say this is one of my very favorite games on the PS3. Pick this up and you will be a happy camper!
The art work is impressive, I love it, I am a Madureira’s fan since long time ago and this work is a very good example of his talent. It is not so violent as GoWIII or Dante’s Inferno, which makes it very fittable for a lot of people sick of blood.The plot is interesting from the very beginning, but not so complex that you lost the track of it, so if you like the medium complex stories you will enjoy this one.The playability is the weak point of this game, even if you can reconfigure it,the relation movement – buttons (or control combination) is not natural (where is the relation between block and run?), so you need to practice a while before you react instinctivily. What is not the case in other similar games.Conclusion, this game is a good one if you want to pass a good time, but from my perspective it is not so good to be a great franchise.
Came on time and in great shape. Owned this game years before and never finished it before I traded it in. If you enjoy games like devil may cry, the legend of Zelda, and God of war then you will love this game. And what better to buy it than before darksiders 3 comes out ?
I played through this game once before, but recollected it in order to 1) Reintigrate it into my Ps3 collection because it’s an awesome game, and 2) Darksiders II is due out 06/26/12, so I wanted to play through it again in order to tide me over until II. There were a few minor annoyances & hinderances in this game, but not nearly enough of a bother to take away from this games overall rating in my book. The graphics are pretty good for the time it came out, and the gameplay is pretty awesome. And how cool is it playing as one of the horsemen of the apocalypse. War is pretty cool, and you’ll get to play as Death in the 2nd game, which is really awesome too. Though Darksiders II will definitely probably blow this one out of the water, (just to wet your pallet, I read that one whole dungeon/area in II would probably fit inside the whole map in this Darksiders, and graphics & gameplay are suppose to be much improved), this is still a worthy title…and epic adventure that any action/adventure lover should undertake!
My teenage son got this game earlier this month and is still playing it.. I think the story has an interesting premise- even if the characters are kind of ugly (mom talking here). The fact that he hasn’t beaten it yet is a total plus (mostly, for me), but he likes this genre and he really seems to like this game.
The game is a respectable effort, it does a lot of things right and little wrong. I’m not going to compare it any game but I will say that the gameplay is nothing new but thats not a bad thing. The game is an action adventure game with heavy emphasis on combat and puzzles, there are levels to explore and places you won’t able to access unless you backtrack with certian abilities. The game is varied enough so you won’t get bored especially the presentation of some the levels there imaginative and fits well with the apocolypse theme. The only negative thing is the combat is a little too easy and the only real challenge you’ll have is if you bump up the difficulty setting. Its a must play game if you like lengthy action adventure games.
Action packed! Very interesting concept and story. It takes place in the post apocalyptic world so the atmosphere of the game is very creepy yet cool. I recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of Legend of Zelda, for Darksiders might as well be a darker version of it. The only thing that could deter some gamers is that the game is a button masher in some cases. So if you do not like button mashers, try to find another game. But I HIGHLY recommend this game. It is a fun and immersive experience!
