We’ve really enjoyed this game. Our only complaint is that the music is not really our preference. It was obviously intended for a younger audience. Regardless, we’ve had a lot of fun playing.

We bought this game for our xbox 360 at the office. It’s a nice little break from the work day and gives everyone a chance to get a little exercise. DDR Universe has a huge song selection. Another nice feature is that you can enter in some information about yourself to find out how many calories you have burned while playing. If you get more than one dance pad, you can compete against your friends. DDR Universe is a lot of fun and is great to play on your own, or as a party game.
I have all 3 DDRU games for xbox 360 now and they keep me busy. I use the game primarily for exercise. The variety of songs on each version is ok, and when I get bored with one, I just switch to another one. If I go a couple days without playing DDR, I start to miss it! And, I’m not even that much of a video game player.
I thought this was going to be a simple game, however it is much harder than it actually looks. It is a good workout. I do have to say that the user interface takes some getting used to. The music on basic level also doesn’t match the arrow movements with the beat unless you change the arrow pace to 1.5-2.0 times the normal speed. I found the setting by chance, which has made it much easier to successfully perform the movements.
