I play this game in exercise mode and generally burn about 175 calories in roughly 40 minutes. Awesome game for those of us who like to be entertained while we exercise. The songs are great and are still being played every now and then on the radio. From every Era of music. It’s great!

Dance central has a TON of potential! I love the game itself, but there just aren’t enough songs that I happen to like on there. I was really hoping for some more current songs that you don’t have to spend extra money to get. The newly released downloadable content is awesome and I suspect it will push this game from four stars to five for me, but I didn’t really want to have to buy more songs. Kinect Sports released five new mini-games FREE for download. I just wish dance central would have done the same. There were seriously only three songs that it came with that I actually enjoy dancing to. Also, some of the moves are used in several songs, so if you’re not good at that one move it kinda sucks. But, overall, I still really like this game, just not as much as Kinect Sports.
This was the first game I bought for my Kinects. It was so much fun. Learning the steps was easy but still a challenge. Great to compete with my none dancing husband, who all of a suuden had “moves” lol. Get the game, have fun and get in shape.
This game has hours of fun, great to get the family moving and now has a sequel. The animations are bright and the colors pop. The song selection is pretty good (not amazingly awesome–like my son would say) but the game song section is “poppy.”I would start off with this game if you have the Kinect and then work up to grabbing Dance Central 2. Those songs are a lot fresher. Oh yeah, anything that you purchase from DC1 can be transferred to DC2 so you continue to build on the original game.Hey, the game is fun and you will have a ball with family and/or friends for hours.

This is game is completely awesome!! Im not a big video gamer and I had a ball playing this game! If you’re looking to have a great time and burn some calories while you’re at it, this is the game for you. The music selection could have been a bit more inclusive but overall, a very good variety of music. Can’t wait to buy DC 2!!
