its ok, not a tradition western. Controls a little difficult. Story is pretty good, kinda like wild wild. Prolly better to rent and try to c if you gonna like it

I bit the bullet and bought this game and its not as bad as anyone is saying it is and i mean c’mon are you compairing it to big budget realease’s or something? ive played for a bit and seen none of the glitches or floating bodies that ign have complained about. and while the graphics are not all that great they sure as hell aint crappy. the game does feel a bit awkward to play but i think its because this is a great concept that nobody has tried before and because of the reviews this has gotten we probably wont see a sequal which would have tidied up the gamplay and polished the game up a bit. I have enjoyed this so far. What i dont like is people saying “oh its from codemasters and they suck so this was doomed from the get go” hello people grid,dirt,overlord,fuel anyone “chirp chirp”.overall its a alright attempt at something fresh i give them a A for effort but a C+ in execution. Not great, not bad , not worth 60 but maybe worth 30.

Am beginn des Spiels dachte ich, was für eine Kacke, beim weiterzocken, stellte ich fest, es macht Spass und das Game Play ist für so ein altes Spiel echt gut.Am Ende hab ich es sogar in der schwersten Schwierigkeitsstufe nochmal durchgezockt. Also, nicht zuviel erwarten, einfach spielen.

Damnation is a good game that’s getting a lot of undeserved criticism. I read a lot of the bad reviews that have come out about this game but decided to give it a try because I like the concept of steam punk mixed with alternate west history.I’ve been playing this game for a few days now and just don’t understand why this game is getting such negative reviews. It almost seems like none of the critics have played the game for more than a few minutes before giving up on it. The controls were a little different from titles I’ve played in the past but were very easy to learn and actually felt quite natural.According to a lot of critics, the aiming in the game is supposedly horrible. I found this not to be an accurate statement. The only weapon that is a little hard to aim is the pistol. Pistols in just about every game that I’ve ever played are usually difficult to aim and takes a lot of bullets to take down a foe. What the critics failed to mention is that when you use any of the other two weapons that your character has, and can swap out, the aiming is easy and it does not take a lot of shots to take down an enemy. The sniper rifle for example can take out enemies in one shot!When you encounter enemies, they are aggressive and will take cover. They do not just stand in place like the critics state!. Also, the game runs with a very smooth frame rate and I have not noticed any graphical glitches so far. The environments are huge and varied with lots to explore. I love this becau.
this is a quirky type of game. a steampunk themed shooter which is only really let down by the controls
