My roommate purchased this game in the hopes of having something like Quake to play on his XBox. He didn’t get what he expected, but it’s a great game nonetheless.Focused more on strategy and teamwork than massive, fast-paced guns & glory style action, Conflict is a very challenging game. Playing in single player mode, you must control a team of four people – but only one at any given time. In the meantime, your teammates follow horrendous AI and are usually the reason you’re angrily slamming the reset button.The multiplayer, on the other hand, is fantastic!Instead of faulty computer AI controlling your team, you and your friends join forces to complete the same campaign as the single player. Because teamwork is so vital, actually being able to communicate with your team members (your friends) is crucial, and works well. Countless times I’ve put down a research paper because someone in the hall is shouting “Conflict!” followed by shouts of “I want the sniper!” and “I want the demo guy!” etc.If you want a FPS that requires some actual thought or simply want a fun game for more than one person, get this game.
this game is now added to my short list of xbox favorites. This games got everything great graphics, EXTREMELY realistic (airstrikes, c4, m16, and of course SNIPERS), another thing is that you can upgrade the inividuals on my team based on the individuals play in the previous level. Its got very clever squad based action and easy command usage, and my favorite anti tank missles. One of the only bad things about this game is that its a little slow on switching weapons. Last thing the enemy AI is one of the best i have ever seen.
Conflict desert storm is a terrific game based on the persain gluf war. It really got trashed by Xbox magazine. There is no multiplayer but there is cooperative play which is easier than single player. Killing tanks are tough and the best way is with a rocket launcher. However you have limited ammo. I suggest killing SCUD missles with c4 explosives and kill the tanks with rocket launchers or tank mines if the tank is moving. The graphics rock and there is a good frame rate. If you love the vehicle driving in Halo, you will be disapointed. There are hardly any vehicles to drive. The game is very realistic. For instance on one mission you go to Bagdad to rescue some guy. The city is very realistic with mosques and markets. In a different level, you have to fight your way through a sand storm. Out pf a scale of 1-100 with 100 being the highest, i give it a 93 which is an A-. There are only 15 levels which are mostly tough. Your soldiers get better but so do Iraqi forces. I suggest buying this game and you should have a lot of fun with it…
This game is excellent for war game lovers and non-war game lovers. The mutliplayer is good because you can actually tell your team mates where to go. The game itself is very challenging. If you like stragedy games, this is one for the record. You have to time everything in order to survive the game. This is a game worth trying.
This is an awesome game altogether. 1st you’ve got the 4 player cooperate ability, meaning 1-4 players can play on the same team through the story line. 2nd you’ve got a wide range of guns, bombs, and medics( medics are able to heal you. and your team mates can heal you if you are dead). The guns have realistic settings including, grenade shot, single shot, and fully automatic. 3rd your players increase in skill and can earn badges. they also get certain recognition, in stars. Like if you are an expert with bombs, you can become a bomb specialist wicth in return, arms you with more bombs on the next level. To sum it all up this game will keep you addicted for months, and it’s worth every penny, certainly a good buy for any gamer.

This has to be the most unique game I’ve ever played. For most of the game, you’re given 4 characters to control: The leader, the Sniper, the Anti-take expert, and the Medic/Heavy Explosives expert. Throughout the missions you must use all 4 in tandem in order to win. Its not a mindless shooter, it requires patience and strategy. The only bad thing I can say about it is that its not XBOX live enabled (this game on live would be the best game ever next to Halo).
This game is awsome. i rented it and fell in love with it, such realism ,great graphics, easy and fun gameplay. This game has all the fun. great weapons and the scenery and place is great. its fun playing in a part of history that already happened. since i play it so much i might finish the game but if i don’t i think ill buy it. i suggest u buy it. its worth the money.
Conflict: Desert Storm is the best thing that ever happened to xbox millitary games. It has grade A graghics and realistic missions. It is a nonstop blast from begining to end. You command a group of four men through a group of gulf war missions. It also has easy controls. There is also a great CO-OP sistem. you can play your missions with up to four players.The only bad thing is that it doesn’t have a multiplayer to fight against friends.CONFLICT DESERT STORM ROCKS!!
This game is a great way to waste a weekend. It was difficult to master the controls at first, but once I moved past that simple obstacle, I had a great time. I like the difficulty of the game, and it’s realism.It’s unlike Halo or Time Splitters 2 where you can just blast your way through when you get in trouble. You really have to think and maneauver.Controlling four squad members at once is a very interesting and fun tactically. This is a perfect mix between real time strategy formats and first person shooter, and the command options really add a sense of depth to the strategies.I played it with a few of my buddies, and we really enjoyed the multiplayer games. All in all, it’s worth the fifty bucks.
