Bought this game to play with my sister after playing it many many years ago. Just as cheesy and fun as we remembered.
We have fun teaming together to survive the missions… but this one seemed m much shorter than the first Conflict game. We put those claymores and landmines to good use. When playing single player, stealth mode works best. I wish they would keep statistics on all those stealth kills though; no fun bragging about it if you can’t show your friends.Minor irritations include unnecessary screens during loading: (Are you SURE you want to save? Are you SURE you want to restart?) Well… duh… yeah already… start the game! And what’s with the useless "profile" junk? Get to the game already!If you have friends who come over and play then I recommend this game. If you are one of those shut-ins who plays over the internet in a dark room by yourself, well… get SOCOM.We can’t wait until the next one comes out… I read it’s probably gonna be Vietnam.
Wow, just rating it now to get the item off my case. It played well and I did enjoy it, fact is I’m going to find it and replay it. It’s a whole lot better then some recent shoot’m up warfare games I’ve had the missfortune to buy recently.
Conflict DS 2 was my first experience with the Conflict games. I hadn’t played the previous version and the only thing I’d played that was similar was the original Socom. I have an addiction to video games it seems because after I got used to how this game worked I was hooked.I enjoyed being able to set each man up for a different purpose and planning strategy on the best way to fight the enemy.As others have mentioned this game was short. I think after I got the hang of it I played it in a couple of hours maybe less, I can’t remember exactly how long.I love this game though it’s on my REPLAY list! The easy mode is perfect for people like me who need to get the hang of a game before going all out on it. I like a game that allows you to play an easy version before heading into hard warfare. Even on easy mode you have to have good strategy to play well.LOVE The game and look forward to a sequel!

If you like Conflict Desert Storm the first one, you will like this one as well. Very enjoyable if you like these types of games. Great to play with a friend.
