This is an older title, I was told it was good so I gave it a shot. It’s fairly decent with a cool story. It can be difficult because of the angles. Other than that it’s cool .

good game but need more time on it…lol
Conan The Barbarian….A fairly decent fighting game (similar to God of War) BUT, NOT THE SAME! I hear a lot of people comparing this game to God Of War, and while it IS similar in playing/fighting, it has it’s own flair. I do think GOW is still better than Conan, but Conan is definitely a decent game with tons of action, fighting, naked babes, and a boatload of bloody GORE!Other folks have mentioned the difficulty in fighting the “boss characters”….YEAH, it’s true! It also gets very annoying to hack, slash, and block, and block, and block for 15 minutes to get nowhere….Yet, some of the Boss Characters are fairly simple to defeat???? But, the FUNNIEST part about the game is that some of the more “basic” characters in the game are downright extremely HARD to kill…..Go figure???? It seems like you’ll have 10 bad guys gang up on you at the same time, all swinging away, while you block for a half an hour, just trying to get in ONE SWING of the blade!!!That’s probably my main gripe with this game…Otherwise, it’s a blast to play, and I’d say it’s worth owning, because the replay value is certainly there.
Very good love it
Bloody good time :)
What can I say? I had a PS2 from the day it came out. I loved, loved, loved God of War! I finally upgraded to an Xbox 360 – no God of War. Conan is as close as it gets. I love this game and it looks great in HD. If you love(ed) the God of War series but you now own a 360, you can’t go wrong with Conan – especially at this price. Buy it already!Pros: Pretty good graphics in HD. Good eriee music to go with Conan theme.Cons: It is not God of War (but pretty close)
This is probably one of the best hack-n-slash games I have ever played. Unlike most, I actually feel like I’m in control of the character. With a lot of games like this, I end up getting too frustrated because you have to wait for your character to finish a canned move sequence before you get to control them again.Sure, there’s little storyline, but who cares? This game was created so you can torture legions of enemies. It delivers. The only thing I don’t like about this game is the boss battles can really piss you off. They go on for ever. They are epic, that’s for sure. Just when you think you’ve got the boss licked, it comes back for some more.I find myself laughing out loud at the shear carnage in the game.I highly recommend this game. I’m glad I just rented it, though, as it has no replay value to me.~Slick
Conan, for Xbox 360 is a decent offering. Great graphics and action. Highly entertaining. It could benefit from two things: some way to share the experience with friends, and a few more save points. ;)
From what I remember of Howard’s novels of Conan, his writing painted extremely vivid pictures of the world he described. The game Conan honors this in presenting the game with beautiful graphics, extreme violence, and lots of fun. I would agree with other reviewers who said that the boss battles were tedious. Generally, other aspects of the game (running around killing hordes of enemies) were extremely fun and visually entertaining. Learning new combinations of moves is also a lot of fun.On the down side, the game is quite short relative to other adventure games for Xbox 360, finishing after about 7 hours. It’s fun enough that there is some replay value, but I’m not sure that $60 is worth it. I would wait until this comes down to about $40 or even $30. Otherwise, it’s a lot of fun.
