This early 2600 game was indeed as simple as most others in terms of graphics and sound, but it had 27 different games. That’s right…27 games of combat, be it tanks, biplanes, invisible tanks, bombers. With that ka-booming, abresive sound.A real early game treat, this was a 2 player blast with…27 game varieties. Not bad for the primitive 2600. And as always, that amazing Atari artwork is as inviting (and naturally misleading) as any of the other games.
Childhood gaming memories have been restored! This shop has some awesome WORKING vintage games! This is the guy you want to buy your old school video games from. Very dependable, and no BS!

This is my favorite atari game because it has so many features. Like five stages of tank battles of multiplayer or u against a cpu, three stages of tank pong which the ammo bounces off of the different stages walls, four levels of invisable tank which is what it says, five stages of biplane battles, and six levels of jet fighter levels. Each stage is different and u can also put it into super slow motion or super fast motion which makes it harder and fun. The graphics r just blocks moving and there is not many colors. It is so dull that u can put it in block or white. This is my favorite atari game.
This is a very fun game when I was a kid just enjoyed it to have a retro style game back in my life because I just got me a used Atari.
It should first be noted that Combat is a 2-player game only. There is no A.I. for single-player to face against. On the bright side, the 2-player action in Combat is very well done.First we have tank battles. Here you navigate a tank around a maze (or open area, depending on the game mode), shooting at the other player’s tank. When a tank is hit, it gets knocked around a bit and the game continues from there.Something fun to try: Get a tank in the corner of the screen then shoot it to knock it into the corner. Sometimes the tank will pass through the wall and loop the screen, only to find itself inside the border, and then proceed to loop around the screen for a few seconds before it finds an open spot. Hilarious!Planes and jets play similarly, however jets are a bit more fun due to play speed and the ability to accelerate and decelerate for more maneuverability.There’s a lot of game modes to try to mix things up a bit. Try invisible tanks, where your position is only revealed when you fire. Or for a handicap match, try the squadron of planes vs one bomber.
