I was rewatching these movies and ordered this one on Prime. I was not disappointed in the quality. The playback worked well and I enjoyed the movie.
Great sci-fi with a hunky anti-hero!
The Riddick movies are really good and Vin Diesel makes that happen. I’m glad I purchased them all on Instant Video.

Don’t blink, this is a film that has a lot of action. Hang on it is a fun ride.
gift for myself
Because the initial reviews of this movie were mixed at best, I, unfortunately, chose not to see it in the theaters. That wound up becoming a decision I have regretted since viewing the movie on DVD. I feel the movie provided a great combination of action, casting, story line, effects, and yes, acting, to satisfy any sci-fi fan. Although the anti-hero role of Riddick is made for Vin Diesel’s style, there is a great supporting class of actors in this movie, with many interesting characters. I especially enjoyed Nick Chinlund as “Toombs” the pursuing mercenary. As far as this Blu-ray version is concerned, it has all the extra scenes from the director’s cut, which will probably appeal to all the serious fans; but the real benefit is the phenomenal quality of the video. The visual detail is fantastic, as well as the sound, making this one of the best quality Blu-ray’s I have viewed to date.
You’re going to enjoy this movies…. don’t think twice
