son loves it. hard to find cop games
Awesome game play. Great graphics, challenging levels, lots of fun playing. Enjoy a lot. Great weapons to use in game.
The main plot of this game is that there is a terrorist organization plotting an attack in the city and you are a criminal-turned-cop who is helping to thwart the terrorists plans.I bought this game because I thought it looked cool, but then saw a review for it in Game Informer that totally trashed it (I think they gave it 4.5 out of 10 stars). Needless to say I wasn’t expecting much. However, after playing it, I am wondering if GI played a different game. This game is very entertaining. The controls are hard to get used to at first (and this is why GI gave it such a low rating). Behind the wheel action is probably the most complicated, as if you get going too fast, the car will spin out on you if you turn too sharply and oncoming cars seem to materialize out of nowhere sometimes. However, I don’t think it is any worse than Grand Theft Auto on the DS….I had the same kind of problem with Chinatown Wars. I don’t think that GI played it enough to rate it fairly, because after practicing driving for a while, it got easier and more intuitive. Practice makes perfect.Another control that is hard to get used to is the shooting. You are essentially using 3 different things at once: the stylus to turn around and aim, the directional buttons to go forward, backward, and side-to-side, and one of the L/R buttons to shoot. This is challenging to get used to and a little frustrating at first, but once you’ve played a while, it feels much more natural.I admit it is disconcerting at.
My Son still plays it more than all other games.
This is an okay game, considering it’s for DS it’s great. Graphics are the best thing about this game, best DS graphics I’ve seen. It has a OK story, good gameplay. And it has free roam, you can get in any car you want which is cool. Pretty long campaign. Over all it’s a nice game for your collection.Luke
The graphics are nice, you drive around Queens, Manhattan, and a part of New Jersey, and sometimes you have to HURRY. You also need to make sure you don’t crash too much otherwise your car will explode lol. Also, the shooting matched can be very challenging too. The game just keeps on going, and you feel like you never run out of missions, although you actually do. I finished all the main missions, but there were like so many that it was amazingly exciting!
Essentially a Driver Parallel Lines for DS. Not great, but not horribly awful either.
Bought this for my 12 year old grandson who plays a variety of games on DSI, PSP, and Playstation. He likes shooter games the best. He played this for several hours straight on his DSI and only took a break when it was pried from his hands for a forced break but couldn’t wait to get back to it for another 3 hours even taking it into the bathroom. He has played it for 4 days now and still likes it. He says it’s a really good one and that he can stop playing at any point unlike most of his games. This is a single player game (which he says means his sister can’t play this game on her DSI at the same time he’s playing it on his as they can on some of his games). Guess Granny did good!
A very good game, always wanted to play it! Game card is in great conditon, does not come with original case. It came with a small storage case but your mileage will vary on shop.
if you wan to buy a good game that is very fun, get this. when i got it, it was only $5, but i guess now they have been getting great reviews and excellent feedback lol, so they must have raised the price. all in all, this is an excellent buy!
