this was a gift for my 6 year old grandson. he is new to the wii system and loved this game
I was introduced to this franchise via PS2’s Super Bust-A-Move. It was adorable, fun, and addicting. After my PS2 was “borrowed” by someone, I could no longer play the great games I had for that console. Thankfully, I got a Nintendo Wii and came across this game years later at a local game store. The concept is the same: match three bubbles of the same color to make them disappear until they’re gone. There’s power-ups and obstacles along the way too, so watch out for those. Some power-ups make the bubbles slide easily through narrow spaces (this can backfire easily, so be careful when firing), others make them launch faster, others clear many bubbles of the color it hits. It’s pretty fun to play. However, Bust-A-Move Bash is somewhat more challenging because the Danger Zone is much closer than the game I played before. Aim wisely to avoid it. (The warning noise it gives off is very irritating though. Instead of the music hastily speeding up like in the previous game I played, there’s a persistent beeping tone. I much prefer the hastened music!)Speaking of aiming, the controls for aiming are simple. Point the Wiimote at the screen and press the “A” button to shoot. Warning: there are strange times where you can’t navigate any further even though there’s clearly room to aim. I never understood that mechanic and it’s made me lose quite a few times. Also, make sure your Wiimote’s batteries are fresh when playing this game. Aiming is terribly off when they’re running low.I haven’t p.
Our family has very much enjoyed this game. It’s not perfect, that’s for sure, but we have found it to be highly addicting and fun for us and our two oldest kids.First off, it’s not a high end game and is probably over priced for what it is. However, it has been worth the money we’ve spent on it. We like to have some games for unwinding, and this is perfect for that. It doesn’t require a ton of mental energy or long hours of play in order to progress somewhere. It’s simply a game to plink around on and relax while doing so. My husband has enjoyed the endless, I enjoy the puzzles, and the kids enjoy the competition. It’s easy enough for our 5 year to play, but challenging enough for my 9 year old to stay interested. We all agree, the shooting section is a wasted option. It’s pretty much pointless.Bust a Move does need some modifications though. If you’re in the middle of a set of puzzles, there is no option to exit to the main menu without loosing a puzzle. The competitive screen is so busy it’s virtually impossible to have any real strategy. It’s pretty much just a shoot and see where it lands. Lastly, there seems to be some problems with the control when the bubbles are in the warning zone. It’s kinda hit or miss as to whether you’ll be able to aim the controls to pop the bubbles on the side. This problem seems to get worse the lower the batteries get, but will happen within 5 minutes on newly charged batteries. It still needs some programming work, but over al.

i gave it as a gift to my niece. she has enjoyed many hours of fun playing this game with her friends
Nice game. Fun
Amazing copy. This game was very hard to find in good condition. I was very pleased with it almost being brand new no scratches on the game and it plays great! Thank you for the excellent quality.
Alright so I spotted this game at Target and immediately added it to my Christmas List. I was excited to be able to play Bust-A-Move again since our Playstation 2 recently stopped being able to read discs (its dead). So I put it in and of course ended up playing for a solid 2 hours straight. It was easy to play with the Wiimote, a nice change from the previous version that didn’t use motion sensors. My only problem with the game was that they left out what I would call ‘story mode’. There’s not really any bosses to battle or a certain story to follow. You just start at one level and keep going til you lose, then it’ll send you back to the select level screen. Kind of weird but nonetheless this game does allow me to play the same basic game. No big complaints, I just wish they would’ve added a little more like in previous Bust-A-Move releases.
I got it as a Christmas present for someone but I already know it’s a great game & it came right away. 5 stars.
Bust a move blast is a great game for the wii. Like all the other bust a moves it plays exactly the same. In this game you get to select between 8 characters that you can play with.CharactersEach character has their own special taunts and comments they say when they win or loose. Characters dont change the way the game plays at all they just add to the hidden content you can unlock such as artwork. (4/5)GameplayThe game plays just like any other bust a move. (You shoot colored orbs in a dirrection and connect the same color with others similar to break them and clear the board.) Something new with this is you can play with up to 8 people with 4 remotes and 4 nunchucks. This 8 player is a load of fun with a house full of people. (4/5)GraphicsWell its a wii game and we know the wii doesnt produce exactly cutting edge graphics. Anyway reguardless it is very colorful and cartoonish. The powerups and orbs look very brilliant in color. On a side note the additinal unlocked artwork is a nice bonus. (4/5)ReplayabilityThere are over 200 levels to play on this game so there is a lot to do to complete it fully. Also you can replay certain levels you want to do better on. The game has a way of keeping you coming back every once in awhile to have a little fun.ControlsThis is the big one. The controls are used with the wii motion. You move your controller side to side to angle where you shoot your orbs. This is a great added bonus over traditional controllers because you get a.
