I used to play this when I was in my teens and it brings back a lot of good gaming memories.
Burnout Revenge for XBOX 360 is nothing much more than a prettier remake version of the same game for PS2 and XBOX,yet its still a really entertaining car destruction game. This the fifth installement in the Burnout series and its just as good as the other titles in the serie,it ain`t the best but its pretty good, especially if you have an XBOX 360 you will be able to experience better graphics.Other than that Revenge is a pretty good game that will last for a good time. As you probably know by now Burnout ain`t unlike any other racer, you have to make takedowns wich means taking down the other cars around you by doing that you will get nitro or boost that will make you go faster. That is the essense of Burnout but its a fast high impact destruction and crashing game that everyone should love instantly. If you don`t like racing games, its just fine as I ain`t a fan of racers myself, this is all about killing every one and getting a good laugh about it.Burnout is really a multiplayer game as its just way more fun playing with friends in all the types of races the game has to offer wich is a lot! There are races, crashes objectives, road rage, world crash tour and just so much,i don`t remember all but I can assure you there lots of different things that you can do and a great variety of races types. The XBOX achievements are incredibly tough to get in this game! Most of them are to be done online and are things like win 50 races in a row, really hard things.I think the publisher made them a.
All good fast shipping!
I had nearly the entire burnout series on PS2 but this was by far my favorite game of the series. I couldn’t find this for PS3 but since I had an Xbox 360 decided to get it. I really missed playing this game. I also miss how far I had gotten in ps2 since, you know having to start over again. Oh well, either way, it’s a fun game. My favorite racing game where I get rewarded for driving like a maniac and taking down rival racers! :) their music selection sucks though so I had to turn that off while playing.
My stepson plays this game all the time, finally a game that he can get points for crashing into other cars.
Most racing games place maximal realism as paramount to success. Not this game. Burnout Revenge stands out from all other racing games of its era in its emphasis on arcadey carnage. Few things bring a bigger smile to my face than pushing a rival car driving 150 mph into a concrete pillar definitely traveling at 0 mph. The moment is celebrated with a swooshing camera that captures the action from the most amazing angles possible and then whooshes back to your car which has been on temporary auto-pilot and now enjoys a huge speed boost from taking down your opponent.I don’t play many racing games, and certainly few racing sims. My biggest gripe with most racing games is that they’re too serious, similar to most licensed sports games. Burnout Revenge ignores this tone and takes pages from Vigilante 8, Rush 2049, and Off-Road to deliver a blood-pumping race for insanity. Not the same experience as Dyad or Wipeout in terms of the feeling of speed, but definitely satisfying in the beautiful destruction you will wield.Nowadays I play most games single-player. RIP couch co-op… Still, this game does get points for a solid couch co-op experience, at least with two people playing. The AI is interesting enough in single player to warrant replaying again and again, though the newest titles for 8th gen consoles will probably blow this AI out of the water. This title came out early on the 360 and it shows in the choice of music and lengthy loading screens. If the music bothers you that muc.
Blowing up stuff is something that every man (and some women) fantasizes about in his private moments. That, and going really, really, really fast. If you want to go so fast that you will literally be screaming at people to leave the room so you can concentrate on this game, sweating profusely, and going for days without food so you can finish this amazing experience, than buy this game. If you have ever enjoyed the feel of pure adrenaline pulsing through your veins, and you turn up the volume when you watch movies that have a lot of pulse pounding action, than buy this game. If, on the other hand, you like slower paced games, with quests, or guns, or wide-eyed Japanese maidens and bad voiceovers, than this isn’t for you. If you like a nice quiet afternoon, maybe curled up with a good book, a cup of tea, and think that music on the radio today is too loud, than this game isn’t for you.
Good game good graphics
I love this game. It’s a shame the studio is gone, but the game lives on. I love to crash in racing games and this scratches all the itches for me. It also works on Xbox One.
This car race game is the bomb!
