Not all the features are working
I bought this game before there were any reviews. Once I started playing I was like other reviewers and was like WTF it won’t go any faster then 6-7mph. But like another reviewer mentioned timing is everything. Now when I bowl I’ve been scoring anywhere between 140-170. Here is what I have been doing. First make sure the PS3 eye is waist high so not on top of your tv put it below it. Next when I’m ready to bowl I hold the move controller straight up and down so the the glowing ball is on top. Next I hit the trigger button then the bowler starts moving forward. Once the player just about reaches the lane I swing back and forward letting go and adding a carve as needed and I consistently through 17-20.5mph. Once you get the timing right this game is a lot of fun. I went from throwing a game of 50 to now throwing a 170. So give it a chance and practice.
Since I love bowling it was a great game for me to buy! Any bowling fan would be happy to have it. Thank You!
Got the 320G PS3 Move Bundle for my 10 yr daughter. She has had a Wii 2yrs and while she still likes Wii, she says PS3 Move is more accurate, but more complicated (because it’s more accurate I’m assuming). I got several games for her and have not had any problem with set-up except for this one. We got it figured out after ALOT of trial. All the info I needed could have been added as a half page on instruction in the manual and cut our controller set-up time down to just a few minutes. Fun but frustrating.
David couldn’t wait to play his new game on Christmas. He loves bowling and often goes to the lanes. So he’s loving to be able to play when he can’t get to the lanes.
decent bowling game motion controls work well and not a must is great
A lot of the reviewers are complaining about its not compatible or they’re only rolling the ball 5-6 mph.Only thing that is wrong is that no one has patience anymore.Everybody just wants to just go in and just play.Bowling is a sport where it take patience, skill, accuracy and the right timing to play.Another thing that people don’t do is read reviews, thats what they’re there for.I was also having a probelm with the eye reading my motion. So I read some of the reviewers comments and one suggest that if you’re having that probelm, try moving the eye from the top to the bottom of the TV.I tried it and it WORKS.Now my 10 year old son and I are bowling at speeds between 15-20 mph with the right timing of release of the T button. The eye also detects when I add spin to my shot depending on my hand movement,so its very accurate. Now my family have tournaments against each other to see who’s the better bowler(no we’re not pros, its just good family fun).I don’t think it really matters if you only see the bowlers back or not seeing through the eyes of the bowler when you start bowling because you set up your shot before the bowler comes into the screen anyway(You set where you want the bowler to stand and the aim of the shot prior to the bowler stepping up to the lane). This is a review to tell my own opinion about this game so thats what I did.So give it a chance and try to have a little more patients,Its worth it.
Still learning how to play this game. its fun. Not what I was looking for but never the less, I’ve played it and will share with friends and family.

I have been play this game ever since it was release on the dualshock. I like it with the dualshock but holding the dualshock to play this game was kind of wierd… didn’t feel right. when I upgraded to the move and play the game again, it was a much better gameplay. it feel right, spinning the ball was easy, pretty much every aspect of the game was good minus the avator itself. I was hoping they change the player avator to where I would see the lane but all of the aiming and angle for throws are done before your player goes down the lane, so I guess their reasoning for this was there was nothing else to do but to throw the ball down the lane. could have been better. this is almost like real bowling with out the feel of a heavy ball. that will throw some people off who like to spin the ball… most likely overspin it.
