I didn’t back the Kickstarter and I didn’t want to buy it in chunks, so the Limited Run release seemed like a no-brainer since I enjoy physical copies. I bought the Vita version, since I figured an adventure game would be more fun on the go, and I’m only borrowing the PS4 I currently have. The art/music style is great and Act I has an interesting story. The Act I puzzles are pretty straight forward, but Act II gets a little back and forth and fetch and carry. Adventure gamers (especially LucasArts players) will recognize the head-scratching, out of left field puzzle requirements of the Act II puzzles. One character gives you a laundry list of things to find and you have to work a lot of item/quest "trades". There is also way too much robot programming (some trial and error) for my liking. The story was light in Act II, so I found a FAQ, but even then certain puzzles (see robots) still seemed unique to different versions / copies. I enjoyed the game overall, which is why I only docked one star. The Vita version had some bugs though: in some areas the audio popped when sound effects and voice were simultaneous and at one point when I switched from one character to the other there where two songs playing at the same time. The popping was a distraction, but others errors could be cleared by leaving the room (in the game). If you’ve played older LucasArts games, then this one seems to have the exact amount of character and flaws that some of those had. Act II wasn’t surpri.
