My grandson really enjoys it! It came with Mario pre-installed, We can’t figure out how to play the games that were purchased separately. I would of gave it 5 stars! Update..Gamestop sold my grandson 3 used games for $60 that didn’t work. one not working…maybe, but all 3 games. Took advantage of 9 year old…They just lost my business!
So to start of this is an awesome handheld. It has lots of games to play, and the graphics are pretty good. They don’t compare to Xbox 1 or PS4 graphics, or the Switch, but if your not looking for a console with perfect graphics these are pretty good, and are definitely a improvement over the DS graphics.First Impressions:When you first get it, it feels really light, almost too light. I was nervous I was gonna break it. You soon get used to it, but it might feel weird at first. I do wish it came with a manual. I would recommend reading over the manual on the Nintendo website before/during setup. I thought the stencil was missing only to find out it was in the device next to the headphone jack all along. Would have been nice to know BEFORE I set up the entire thing, but you can’t change the past. I like that it comes with Mario Kart 7 so you can play right away. C-stick, ZR and ZL buttons are nice, but I have yet to find a game that uses them, so right now I can really only use them on the home menu. Really like the circle pad and I’m glad they added it on the 3DS and 2DS. After getting used to the weight it feels really nice to hold. Battery life is good (about 3-6 hours, depending on what your doing on it. Orange and white color scheme is really nice.The Games: The device came with Face Raiders, AR Games, and Mario Kart 7. Face Raiders is fun but I can’t really see you playing it unless you have nothing else to do. It’s fun, but all you really do is take pictures of faces an.

Got it as a gift for someone. The colors are pretty and the texture of the plastic is nice. Connected to work nicely. Pokemon played good. Nice loud speakers. So far she said it’s still working good (has owned for 5 months)

My younger brother, and I had the OG 2DS(es), and these ones are a huge improvement over those ones (the OG 2DS) in terms of playing games with little to no slowdown. As you can tell there’s no 3D effect in the sense of wearing 3D glasses, like the OG 3DS(es) but that is more of a gimmick. Still I would pick this since it saves money when it comes to the OG 3DS(es) while being more pricey than the OG 2DS(es) it runs better than those ones.
