Wow where did this game come from, and why didn’t I know about it.I saw the demo on PSN and gave it a try. Not expecting much, playing Battlefield, and COD, you think you’ve seen the best of the best in F P Shooters. So keep in mind Bodycount is a Arcade Style shooter.So started playing and first thing that came to mind is wow, great graphics. The movement is smooth, The audio SFX are great, so I crunk up the volume on the TV and went all in on it. Oh yeah it’s action right from the rip, explosions, bullets flying, power up and ammo by the plenty. The AI is mediocre, but don’t let’em fool yah, they’re out to get yah, mean and relentless.So yeah, it’s fun, kinda like a cool drink of water after the other FPS I’ve played. Not too serious, but enough to keep your attention.PROS:Good GraphicsSmooth Textured maps (I’ve only played demo so far)Decent AIGreat SFXCons:Weapons are so soDoesn’t aim down gun sights, kinda off side cross hairsAll in all, this is a fun game, cant wait to see the multilayer, hope others are playing.Gotta keep an open mind, not every game is COD. Bodycount is an arcade style shooter that in my opinion is top notch, not monumental, but worth the timeto master. So crank it up, get hype and just beef it out, have fun with it!

The game is designed for players with low skill levels, I enjoyed it for that reason. Strange as it seems the next to last episode was much harder than the final game ending. That is fine with me. The "Real Hard Core Gamer" might not like the game at all and its a game with less challengers.

They give high ratings to junk and hate other shooters that they say cannot compare to Call of Duty or Battlefield!!! Those franchises have been around awhile and have established themselves. So come on!! There is so much to love about this game. The guns, explosions and the destructible environments!! If anyone does not love this game, they need to get their head examined!! I love MW and Battlefield, but love this game equally!!

I expected a weapons heavy no frills smooth controlling FPS and for the most part that is exactly what this is. The story is you work for a privately funded militia that sends out lone soldiers to settle battles with small time warlords. The story does expand into the scifi realm but only so far.The single player campaign clips along as you run headlong solo into all sorts of intense firefights. Switching weapons, reloading, intel pick ups and movement all come very naturally and this is an addictive experience as the levels have tons of routes through them and you will want to best your grade by repeating them in BODYCOUNT mode.The co-op and multiplayer should play well for those who want to share the mayhem I haven’t been able to try them yet however. The game also froze up once during the single player missions, but only once after many hours of play.For the PS3 there is a tiny install, and the top resolution is 720p, I played the demo on 360 and it looked better but seems to play smoother on the PS3, probably just finished product vs. demo. Lots of fun for the type of player who doesn’t want a team slowing you down, and the intel collecting and powerup usage really adds to the level of destruction you can wreck on the environment and enemies, just plain old trigger happy fun with a bunch of detailed and different weapon options. Star off for the forced strafing on zoom mode and the one freeze up.
