This game is Awesome! For all fans of the Legacy of Kain series, it is an essential game. For all action/suspense fans, it still is a must buy. The action is top-notch, the puzzles will keep your mental wheels turning, and the game play is wonderfully smooth. Get this game while you can!!
You are Kain, a vampire. You were defeated two hundred years ago by Sarafan, your enemy. In that time, you were the lord of the land of Nosgoth. Two hundred years later, you awake. The world has changed and you no longer have power, but you still have allies. Now it’s your task to kill the Sarafan for good.- Graphics: The graphics aren’t that great but there’s nothing to complain about them. I mean, they’re very clean and have no serious problems, the character’s expressions are good… Believe me, if there’s nothing to complain, then the graphics aren’t bad. The enviroment is also very good, reminds me of London of 19th century or something…- Sound: This game has the best voice acting ever, believe me. The voices are awesome and Kain’s quotes makes him one of the best characters ever from a videogame. The soundtrack is also great, and the song changes when an enemy is close to you (reminds me of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell in this point).- Fun: What makes the game fun is the fact that you play as Kain, a character that nearly every gamer (myself incluided) would like to be. Intelligent, wise, fearless. The puzzles are also easy to solve, so you don’t really get pissed (I hate hard games) because you can’t solve one.- Educative: No, this game is not any educative, it’s undoubtedly a Mature game. You kill helpless victims, there are lots of blood and violence. If your kids are easily impressed by violence, this is not your game.Overall, this is one of the greatest tiles ever.
It is a fun vampire game where you play as Kain trying to get rid of his enemies. I really like this game.
let me start off by saying that this is my first review,but i felt compelled to write one about this game in order to convey the exitement that i have for this game.first of all let me explain that this game is in my opinion not for kids.the reason for that is that it shows a lot of gore and violence,the hero is also not a role model by any means as he shows no mercy or empathy towards anyone or anything.That being said,this is a great game for anyone over 13 that likes that type of game.first off the story is very good in keeping with the original legacy of kain series exept i found this one more detailed and more exiting that the previous stuff.Second game play is awesome the controls are easy,the surroundings are beautiful and specific enough so that you always manage to find your way around.The cameras work well and the makers spent a lot of attention to details throughout the entire game wich makes it fun to look around wherever you are in the game wich i really liked.The premise in itself is simple you are kain and you’ve been brought back to life to save the world from the sarafan lord and his minions.You meet a bunch of diffrent characters throughout the game wich basically let you know what to do next.So your never left on your own not knowing what to do you always have a clear picture of what to do,yet you do it your way wich makes gameplay fun and challenging.Throughout your adventure you will have to basically kill everything that moves and suck their blood to sur.
Strangly, this game is overlooked. It continues the story of Kain, in a sequel to the old Playstation game, BLOOD OMEN. Graphics are very nice, and there is quite a bit of detail in all of the levels. A lot of the game, however, consists of puzzles. Too many of them have you pushing around crates to open up a path. However, the game is on the long side, so it will keep you busy for a while.This game is a port from the PS2/XBOX original. If you already own it, this Gamecube version has nothing new, besides having a better controller. There is a new area, but it is hard to tell apart. As before, there is a small pause to load when you reach the second half of a level. It is not really annoying, though.Overall, this game is very good. I highly recommend buying it.
This is a good game but the controls are kind of bad and you might have to adjust your TV screen since it might be too dark. However it is still fun.
this game is fun and proves a great game to LOK fans. the combat is similar to the soul reaver combat style and you gain many magic powers as you progress. it explains most of the things you need to know about the hylden and the ancients. To settle some FAQs, janos was probably resurrected shortly after soul reaver 2. Kain revived vorador in between blood omen and blood omen2 (kain threatens vorador in one dialogue, asking him if he wanted to be sent back to the grave). This game is a result of the evnts in soul reaver 2 nhad on nosgoth. Sadly, a lot of people don’t think this game is good. due to the poor amount of sales no more LOK series games will come out for gamecube, get it while you can. BUY NOW.
This is a must have game if your into the whole Kane series. Even if your not into the the whole kane/soul reaver series this is still simply a fun game to play. The puzzels are not that challeging at all but the fighting and game play are a blast. The bosses on the other hand can be difficult until you find their weakness but once you do it is like taking candy from a baby. If your looking for a challenging game I wouldn’t recomened this one but if your looking for a fun game that allows you to fight in a mythalogical time, against powerfull and strange creatures, go for it.graphics- 4-5game play- 4-5puzzels and difficulty- 3-5length- 3-5
Lots of great action, puzzles and a decent plot make this game addictive. It has 12 chapters that have you negotiating everything from sewers to a cathedral. The opening chapter includes a tutorial that teaches you the basics of how to move Kain and activate his powers. This really helped me because I hate to read instruction books.This is an older gamecube game so the graphics aren’t perfect and if you’re not used to third person games, the movement of the characters can take a little getting used to. It’s not extremely difficult to get through the levels. I’m pretty much a newbie at gaming and always have to use the Easy mode for everything just to get through. This game offered enough challenge to not be boring but still didn’t seem overly difficult. For just the gameplay value, I’d rate this right up there with the Resident Evil series for Gamecube and Wii. It is violent and bloody so not for young kids. And, for Xbox 360 fans, I’m sure it would seem extremely primitive but I happen to like the old games and this one is a lot of fun.
let me tell you the game is sweet, and very awsome to play, the gore is awsome, running people through with your weapons is awsome, sucking there blood is sweet. But just incase for any of you out there that has not played it yet, one thing you hae to watch out for, they put to much information in it, so it skips alot, not skipping like a DVD does, but it stalls sometimes for like a sec. or 2 most of the time and so if you like to own this game, you gotta live with it if you want to own, just to tell you all before you ever buy it. But don’t get me wrong, the game is awsome, there is a couple of partsinthe game that are mess ups, if you put in the code for hime to have the best suit and his soul reaver sword, sometimes when a video hits, it have the sword through his shoulder and at the very end when he is talking to the boss, I can’t remember his name, but it will cut off on them talking and it gets very annoying but after a while I’m sure you won’t care, and also at another part, at the begining when you are talking a fellow vampire you will get cut off and she will finish talking and then at the last second, you will finish your sentance like you never got cut off, it is weird, but hey I’ve played it so much, I don’t bother with that anymore, I just like to kill people, the inocent poeple and suck there blood and run people through with my sword, hope you all enjoy it.
