I bought this product because i own the first one and thought this be a great addition to my collection. It is fun and plays like the original. If you like this series of games it is a must have. If you like fighting games then i think you will also like this game.
Not much to say really if you are a BlazBlue Fan this is for you but be aware of that if you have Continuum Shift then there is little point to have this game since is practicably the same with the only difference of that this includes Railus,Makoto,Platinum the Trinity and Valkenhayn are now included on the story mode so you can se the events that took place on Continuum Shift from their point of view………well there is that and the of that they tweaked some of the game play so is smoother when you fight still a great game and in my case I could’n resist to the small art book and calendar that are included with the Limited edition.
I was so pleased to be able to find these games. I had never heard of them before my grandson put them on his Christmas list. I’m glad that they were available and looked great. He’s already playing them.
Great game, the art is fantastic and the gameplay is solid for a fighting game. Cant wait for the next update with more characters. Would like a mode that helps you fine tune your attack on what certain characters weakness are.
The game comes with lots of content that gives lots of stuff to do. The game does have a few challenging moments but nothing too bad. One issue that comes up occasionally is that the dialogue will sometimes switch to Japanese and then back to English, does not detract from the game but is weird. One other minor problem is that the buttons shown in the menu for combos and attacks to use do not use the regular buttons I usually see and can make it a bit of a hassle to figure out at times what buttons on the controller need to be pushed to activate the combos.
Most likely if you’ve even considered getting this game, it’s because you love fighting games, guilty gear, Japanese fighters, or had a good recommendation. The action is very fun once you get baptized into the community. You WILL get murdered online if you haven’t played before. DONT be scared. People do practice and it does take a little practice….but think about how many insane hours people put into adventure games, RPGs, shooters, and just games in general. All games have a learning curve, and this game is no different. However, once you get used to the frantic nature of the game, you’ll be VERY happy you got it.I haven’t been able to play since I don’t have a tv right now and because of an accident I got in a while ago, but I’ve played the previous 2 games, and was ranked fairly high in the first. Unlike street fighter, you’ll come to have a “main,” and a “sub” character. Respectively, your main is your primary character who will define you as a player. Think of him or her as being synonymous w/your favorite color; they will become part of you. Your sub will be another character you also like, who you’ll practice after you have your main down pretty well. You’ll know when you do. Just fry to be patient, there are lots of people willing to help, play casually, and just have fun, so don’t get discouraged – many are willing to hold your hand. And with extensive forums available, with videos online , you’ll never be lost.The story in blazblue is also another great feature.

I been playing fighting games like Marvel vs Capcom,MK and Street fighter. Blaz Blue def needs your full attention to stand a chance online. I basically got online and got wrecked so it will take time to master the controls. Its also great that we can spectate other fights considering this came out a long time ago. Plenty of people still online as I write this review,making this a well worth limited edition under 20 bucks.
played the heck out of this game, not playing anymore for this season of life. Moving on to bigger and better things
