I found that this proverbial "Dragon" Movie was excellent for the reason of no nudity and the Hero of the story made Positive Moral decisions regarding the Love of his Life and, I think the special effects of the Dragon were excellent also…watched many Dragon movies and this was a top ten……
I loved this mythical tale! While one can always find something to criticize about these kinds of stories/movies, I found this one to be very enjoyable. Sure, guy gets girl and kills the dragon. But, the scenery, the wonderful musical score, the very well-done costumes (I always watch for authenticity in costumes of the period), the special effects with the dragon, and the reasonably well written script and good acting , all combine to make this a very pleasant experience.
Tremendous picture, although a "B" movie in the artistry of the actors, I would most definitely give them a B+ for effort. The music score by Panu Aaltio was phenominal, excellent arrangement, added so much heart and feeling to the entire film, and then coupled with the location filming In Ireland, a great back drop to a wonderful written story. The costumes of the period were spot on, kudos to wardrobe, especially with most likely a limited budget. If your looking for Lord of the Rings, then go buy it, but if you are looking for a great film, with heart and spirit and definitely fun to watch, then this is the film for you.

Fun movie! Great acting, good story, pretty cool dragon. All around this was an entertaining movie!
When a dragon kills his father a young mountain man must enter the employ of an aging Lord who shared a dark secret with the boy’s father. To become a warrior who can defeat a dragon he must first face the bigotry of his the lowlanders who refer to him as "jack", a derogatory term for mountain folk, Their is surprising complexity in the plot for a fantasy piece.
Well written, surprisingly good acting, not at all cheesy. I was thrilled that this doesn’t seem to fall into the typical"B" rating of the genre. I would recommend it to anyone, very well done movie. Worth checking out!

Good movie. Well done, especially as I understand it is fairly low budget. Good acting and held my interest throughout.
