This thing arrived in perfect condition. The great thing about a PS3 is the ability to use it as a media platform, which helps in justifying the purchase with a significant other who may not be as excited about the ability to play awesome games. Not only does it play Blu-Ray, but you can use it with Hulu Plus, Netflix, and retrolio Instant Video. The only disappointing thing is that there’s no Pandora App and I was not impressed by the built-in music app. Another cool thing is that you can download most PS1 and PS2 games if you’re feeling particularly nostalgic.
EXCEPT! DO NOT BE FOOLED INTO THINKING your "NEW" PS3 is in fact new. Do your research, buy from trusted sources.My fiance and I spent 100’s of hours on games like RB3, LA NOIRE, and many more, only to connect to the internet and have our entire histories erases, replaced with to our shock and what we surmise was the previous owner’s nothing account.An awesome, awesome, gaming console however. Great selection of games, great support and just an all around good buy.
Great system! Many different uses via the internet including Netflix. Loads of free games on-line to download to the system. My only complaint is that it will not play PS2 games. You can play the PS1 games all day, but not your PS2 games. Be prepared to purchase another controller if you want to play 2 player games. Otherwise, it’s great! I have heard complaints of it being too loud, I have not had an issue of it being too noisy. Sure, it is louder than the older systems, but it is not an overpowering noise.

I got this for my sons as a Christmas gift they were happy. It was in great condition and all though they do not have the system anymore it was a great buy. My sons sold it to get something else they wanted.

I love, love, LOVE my PS3! It has so much memory that downloading movies, games, etc is not an issue. It was a replacement for a 60GB XBox 360 and it was well worth the money. I have tons of movies and games downloaded on this device and I’m still not even close to my memory limit. I also have several apps like Netflix, Hulu, Spotify, Daily Burn, etc loaded and these apps run smoothly. It’s very reliable and has not had ANY issues in the time I’ve had it. Definitely a must-have for gamers or even movie streaming addicts.

Easily THE BEST console I have ever had! (well, tied with snes).And I have nes, snes, n64, gamecube, wii, ps1, ps2, genesis, and various handhelds as well.The reason? I just get so darn much use out of it! I love many of the games on it, such as the Ratchet and Clank series and Okami HD. We don’t have cable; we do retrolio Prime and Netflix. Which this PS3 is great at! And I stream music over several services. The poor thing barely gets to be turned off.
The box that the PS3 was in (actual box, not outer shipping box) had a dent and it looked as if they opened it to make sure there was no damage to the product (no damage). With that said, I’m glad that they took the time to check. This is the new version, which is smaller and quieter. This was a gift, and he was ecstatic about it!
