I dont understand why retrolio posts these reviews before the product has actually hit players hands. There is one here from somebody ranting about Obama and another from somebody who just hates games in general it would appear. At least some of the other stores dont allow this kind of nonsense.With the above said, let me now give my opinion on the game itself now that I have actually spent some time playing it:On a scale of 1-10 the difficulty level is an 8 or 9 as compared to Call of Duty. If you attempt to collect the items etc, and not just run through the game.If you watch the movie Aliens then you will notice that the action is on a crazy level. I mean there are no “snipers”, the aliens just are everywhere and that accounts for why everyone except 3 die. The game plays like the movie in that you fire thousands of rounds yet there are more and more aliens.The graphics are not great yet not bad. The movie itself is dark and not really detailed itself. So again it emulates the movie.Overall its a fun game that I think is as close to being in the actual film as you could get. The action is frantic and overwhelming at times. If you like Aliens then its worth what it cost. If you are getting this game just to compare it to the other games out there then you will feel like its a waste of money. Overall I am happy with it. ITS JUST A GAME!
Great game…however it does have it quirks that needs to be buffed out. Overall, its amazing how many games bit off the original movie and now it became it own game. Also I really enjoyed the way it picks up after Alien 3. The multiplayer gameplay is so different than other MP games. Highly recommended game if you like sic-fi and wanna step up your horizon in online multiplayer matches.

THE CONTENTS FOR THE COLLECTORS EDITION ARE TRULY SOMETHING THAT BY ITSELF WITH NO GAME WOULD BE WORTH A LOT OF MONEY. AND IT ONLY COST ME $25 IN ALL HONESTY THIS IS A GAME THAT LOOKS LIKE A PS3 OR XBOX 360 RELEASE FIRST GEN, PRETTY FUN TO PLAY, IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE MOVIES OR IF YOU ARE NOT OPEN MINDED THEN DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Great game and awesome model! The game is exciting and has great art and environments right from the Alien universe!
Since this is a collectors edition, this is a review on what you get inside instead of the game itself because you’re buying this for the extras. The collectors box is nice with a plastic sleeve over a cardboard box. The box is 91/4" H x 71/4" W x 7" D. You get the game in a standard DVD case with 2 game add-on download extras such as flamethrower, playable characters from the original Alien film, and an additional level. Items you get in a classified folder are 2 badges, a polaroid photo, an old style printout of a mission briefing, a nice foldout diagram of the USS Sephoria starship, and a certificate. The final item you get is the power loader statue and the main reason you might want to pick this up. Even though you may not like the game, you might want to buy this just for the statue if the price is low enough. The statue is 71/4" H x 5" W x 41/4" D. Not a large statue but if you look at the photos there is a lot of details in this statue and overall it looks great. Nothing moves in the statue, but the cables on the back are flexible.
This is a great game for those love the aliens saga. Don’t be blown away by graphics they missed it but a good game with good story for what may have happened. On the ship and planet for the movie Aliens.

Game are to entertain I was entertained my only complaint is it was short and Hicks is some how alive.
I bought this because I am a fan of all "Alien" games even those that are not that great. This is by far the best aliens game tht has been released. The story is short but it is still very good and playing Co-Op is fun but playing Online Vs. Matches are a pleasant surprise. A lot of people said the AI was not very good and that you could just run by them, well you could do the same thing in Call of Duty 2 and i don’t see people talking about how bad that game was. yes the AI needs some improvement but it did not take away from my experience of playing the game with my friends only when I played online Co-Op games having the other players just keep teleporting me up to their location which is annoying.Overall I loved the game but it is flawed and not all gamers will love it. But it is fun to play and I only bought this for the extra DLC you only get with the collectors edition. While pleased with the DLC items the statue was very small and not very well made which is a bummer from a fan point of view.
Everybody hates on this game but i Love it!!! i can remember watching Alien and Aliens on VHS way back when :) and the Figure looks Sweet on my Desk..
