I love this game which really doesn’t feel like a game but going back in time and enjoying the Beatles from their beginnings and onward and reliving the memories I had of the Beatles and of course my favorite is singing the songs with the Rock Band Microphone. Great fun!
This was the first time in my life (I am in my 30s) that my parents have ever sat down and willingly played a video game with one of their kids, and we had a great time. You’ll know all the songs, the story play is really fun if you know the history, and the little audio clips are great. A great game for Beatles fans, and others who are less well educated about their history can play along, too. The easy levels are also reasonably easy for newcomers to not only the controllers but to video games altogether. It’s also a great feature that you can sing multiple vocal parts–sometimes I’ve just been singing along for so many decades that I forget what’s the melody and what’s the harmony part and end up switching between them accidentally!
While I’m not the biggest Beatles fan, I really respect what they did with this game. I’ve loved all Rock Band and Guitar Hero games well, and this one really was quite a solid undertaking. It actually feels like a stand-alone game with its custom visualizations and modes. All in all, it was well done.
I like this game a lot. The Beatles are my favorite band, and there’s a pretty good selection of their songs to choose from. However, I couldn’t get the guitar controller to sync properly with the music, so it made the game less enjoyable for me. I might try buying another controller and see if that helps.
From the opening animation, this game had me hooked and never let me go! The plus of playing with replicas of all the vintage instruments takes this game to a level that will never again be reached by a Rock Band franchise. The ability to add to the existing catalog of all that great music is a GREAT reason to fire up that X-BOX live account!
This is the best Rock Band game, the only game to compare with this Beatles Rock Band is GH Metallica!! But what i prefer between The Beatles or Metallica? I dont know hahahaha! AMAZING GAMEEEE!!!
The title of my review just about sums up the game. I’ve finished the entire single player experience in under 6 hours but I didn’t want to put down the guitar either. This game is a blast to play, but if you’re expecting any sort of challenge, there is none, except in the Chapter Challenges where you’re required to play through every song in each Chapter. What the songs lack in complexity though the game compensates for with absolutely stunning visuals (I caught myself just staring a few times and missing notes) and fun “prizes” for completing certain tasks. The Xbox achievements aren’t always so straight-forward either, but that just adds to the fun. I haven’t played on Live or any other multi-player yet as I just got the game yesterday, but I’m sure to spend quite a bit more time on that.If you’re a Beatles fan you should definitely pick up this game. If you’re looking to buy it because it has the Rock Band moniker you may be a little disappointed, Rock Band 2 is a better overall game with much more depth.
This game is classic- the harmony is a great addition too since it lets more than one person sing. This allows for people to play an instrument and background sing at the same time (which is what I have been waiting for from Rock Band). Excellent game- very fun gameplay and like the animation style a lot.
I’ll get strait to the point…The Beatles: Rockband is an awesome way to experience the music of the Beatles for the first time or the ten-thousandth time. The game takes you and your friends (up to 6 can play) on a smooth cruise through the Beatles career as you visit episodes of their career spanning from Liverpool club basements in 1963 to the Apple Record’s rooftop! Great FUN, great Music! This edition of Rockband soars where others have consistently faltered, the mucial experience is 100% quality all the way through. You just should not quibble over the fact that once in a while you are strumming a guitar controller yet the game is actually playing a Cello or other instrument. Your playing a playstic quitar for petesake!! The music is good, you many of the songs even if you are only 13, and overall it just flows well.(the following 4 paragraphs are meant to be read aloud, while leave you breathless in a vain attempt to keep up with the lack of breaks in the paragraph structures…the lack of punctuation it is intentional, and quite fun!)One of the strong points of this game is that it is the first Rockband title that is nearly as enjoyable to play as it is to just watch. Instead of being bored to tears while others play (because either A)it is not your turn to play, or B) you lack the intestinal fortitude to have fun in the face of acute personal embarrassment), you will still have a great time with this title because, lets face it…the Beatles rock! Additionally, as.
I already owned Rock band 1, 2, and 3, so i thought i would give the Beatles a try. I’m a decent fan of the Beatles and own many of their albums. I have to say, if you’re a Beatles fan, this game is for you. I love going through the Beatles history. The rewards you get from the story mode are amazing. You get to see different pictures and videos that you cant see anywhere else. This is a very fun game overall, but i do have to say that its not exactly the most challenging rock band of them all. I personally play on expert with the guitar and drums and occasionally vocals, and i can usually pass almost every song with 4-5 stars. But if you enjoy listening/playing the Beatles songs than you shouldnt care anyways.I would definitely recommend this game to any Rock Band or Beatles fan out there.
