IĆ¢ā¬ā¢m a huge fan of Bayonetta IĆ¢ā¬ā¢m so glad and happy to have this game! Works great and came brand new! This game is wonderful, addicting, and so much! Bayonetta is the QUEEN of the Witches!5/5 and 10/10!
I love the gameplay of this title. It plays a little like Devil May Cry but it might be a little too much easy too play. Either way It’s really enjoyable. I play all my games on every difficulty until I can’t play it anymore, & I beaten this game from very easy (Which only took me 2 days Due too school & all that) but Normal was a little tiny bit more challanging, but anyone can beat this game on all the Difficulties. Its the Endless Climax mode that is the hardest. But This still gets a 5 out of 5.
I havent felt so attached to an action game like this for a long time. This game has a very fast-paced gameplay design, lots of things going on the screen at the same time, it has a selection of great soundtracks too. My personal favourite so far being Theme of Bayonetta. The dialogue is purposefully cheesy, Bayonetta herself speaks in british accent, and I will admit her design is pretty damn sexy. Got the game last Friday afternoon, started playing on Normal setting and when I realized it it was already Saturday night, with credit(and a few surprises!) rolling. Finished up on hard setting for the past few days and my total game time is around 25hours so far. and I still have loads of items not yet unlocked, and another difficulty mode to finish. I would say this game has loads of replay value. It is really fun using combos in this game! so many different combinations, but I do find myself stick to some easier to use combos. :P Highly recommanded to both action game beginners and hardcore gamers.
I’d heard about this game – mainly that it was outrageous and incredibly sensual. This checks out.I haven’t played any of the Devil May Cry series, but it seems that this game uses a similar combat/reward system. As a plebe, I played the game on Easy (automatic) mode because when it comes to fighting games I can’t be bothered to learn absurd button combos. In this mode, the gameplay experience felt quite streamlined with only a minimum of gripes for loading times, long cutscenes, or "yet another stupid death" moments.Almost any screenshot from the game would be suitable for framing. It’s gorgeous. I could, though, feel the 360 being strained when lots of things were going on during combat and in certain locations. Mainly this arises as vertical sync and screen tearing issues. They never really hampered gameplay, as there’s no sniping and no online lag to worry about. Notably, these issues were quite specific to certain locations (Chapter 2 for instance), so most of the game is well-optimized for the 360.The plot is kind of bonkers and tough to follow until you get to the endgame and can make sense of it all. As a result, if you are prone to picking up and putting this game down throughout your playthrough (as I did), returning to the game will feel quite jarring, especially if you’re dropped into a boss fight. Boss fights are roughly half of the game play, so this happened a few times…Overall a great addition to the 7th gen lineup. Although Bayonetta 2 has been anno.
no problems
I’ve never written a review on anything but seeing as I’ve been unemployed for a while now this is a great way to pass time. I’ve played all the “style combo” games (DMC 1,2,3&4 GoW 1,2,3,CoO Heavenly Sword ect..) And this is another great addition to the genre. It took me a while to actually finish the game but not due to difficulty but the story failed to draw me in as other games have but this is by no means a deal breaker. Now on to the good and the bad.The GoodThis game has a very expansive combo list because of all the weapons in the game and the combinations you can use them in as most weapons you can equip on your hands and feet. They range from pistols and shotguns to whips and katana and every weapon has its own list of combos you can execute. The graphics are very impressive at least on the 360 as I’ve been told that the game can occasionally slow down in frame rate on the ps3. Although later on the environments seem to become second rate but what do you expect from a game that focuses on the gameplay. The characters are very catching but not memorable outside of Bayonetta herself.Voice acting is mostly well done but a weak script doesn’t help it out.Now the BadAs nice as a large combo system is you’ll find yourself falling back on the same couple of combos and weapons as they seem to be the most effective on the enemies. The script as I mentioned above isn’t all there but it does a fine job at moving the story along. The difficulty may be a problem for new comers but.
I was pleasantly surprised when I first played the game. At first I just thought it was a dime-a-dozen hack and slash title, but I found myself really enjoying the two weapon system and having fun with the combat. A lot of people (who clearly have not played the game) like to give this game a bad rap because of the Bayonetta’s appearance. When you play the game yourself, it becomes obvious that her sexual nature is played up for laughs and is a joke, it is not actually meant to arouse you. If anything, it’s a parody of other sexual female characters in video games. The game is, overall, very comedic and over the top, which I found very fun.Don’t believe the bad press, give the game a shot. Most of the bad press has come from people who just saw the cover of the game and decided that it was bad. If you’re comfortable with your own sexuality, you should be fine playing this game.
From the moment you start Bayonetta until the point when the credits start to roll you will be bombarded by over the top action, cutscenes, enemies, and special attacks. You will also love every minute of it.As a fan of Devil May Cry I thought I knew what to expect, and in terms of combat they are very similar, but while Devil May Cry had some fairly crazy action and dialogue, Bayonetta surpasses it in every way. Everything is smooth, the framerate is solid, and the control setup is fairly intuitive. The only thing that might be considered a negative is that you will die. A lot. Though each death just brings you closer to being able to fight without being touched, and continue points are well laid out so you won’t have to do entire sections over if you do die.The game also avoids becoming stale by throwing in various sequences that stray from the normal beat-em up style fighting but I don’t want to ruin those since you will want to see them for yourselves. The voice acting is good though most of the dialogue is a bit cheesy but entirely entertaining and sometimes hilarious. The music is well rooted in pop as opposed to the Devil May Cry metal music, but it suits the character well. You may end up with Fly Me To The Moon stuck in your head, whether or not you want it to be.If you are a fan of action games or just want to have a somewhat wacky but fun experience, Bayonetta is worth the price of admission.
Combat in this game is top-notch and highly intuitive. However, the story itself along with the characters requires a fairly broad sense of humor in order to avoid getting offended. As long as you can look at the hyper-sexualized behavior of the main character and still laugh without feeling the need to write an angry letter to the publisher, then this game is well worth the purchase-price.For me, it was about 11 hours for my first playthrough, but I still have fun going through again in order to up my score and rankings, and the unlockable weapons are a blast to use.Buy this game, but don’t play it with your parents/significant other/children around. Unless you feel like answering some really awkward questions
let me start by saying that i’ve played this game a lot. i’ve unlocked every weapon, accessory, etc. i’ve done every verse of every chapter, found every bird, unlocked all achievements, beaten all the secret/extra content. the cap on the recorded playtime of a save file is 99 hours 59 minutes and i hit that on my first save file a long time ago. what i’m getting at is that i’ve seen everything this game has to offer :pgenre:3rd person action game with a scoring/grading systemthis game is for:fans of the genre looking for something fun, or people wanting to give the genre a try. this game is great for a beginner. also of note, getting all of the achievements/trophies is required for some of the unlocks so it’s expected that anyone could get them all without much trouble. so if getting 1000 gamerscore or a plat trophy is something that you like doing, this game is worth picking up.this game is not for:kids…or people that might try to take it seriously.pros:huge range of difficulty! a ton of content. gameplay is flashy and fun to watch. aside from a few game-breaking techniques/equipment, this game is skill based (making for satisfying gameplay). easily one of the best action games around in my opinion. clear game mechanics make it easy for the player to understand what skilled gameplay should be like, making the progression from casual to serious a natural one.cons:a weak story (it’s a prologue at best). mood – though many will find the over-the-top action and anything but su.
