Backyard sports is and will always be the greatest DS franchise. Atari and Humongous know how to make a great quality sports mobile game.They pushed the graphics to the limit and sound effects and everything else to make a great game.And now you see the games are rare artifacts because they do not make them anymore and they cost 90 bucks.Who would have ever thought a Ds game would be a 100 bucks?No one.But this game is that good.Backyard basketball follows the line of great games:Backyard Baseball,Backyard Hockey,and Backyard Football(eh not so much football but the others yes).These games combined great graphics,controls,sound effects,players,and realism to a mobile game like none else.And it for kids and adults alike.Pros:Graphics,gameplay,controls,real players from the NBA as well as backyard fictional characters,and a realistic season mode as well as mini games.Cons:May get too easy after a while.That’s the one drawback of every backyard game.,it doesn’t keep you challenged which may lead people to put it on the shelf after a while.Overall:Fun and entertaining and a must have for sports fa
I bought this for my 4 1/2 year old for Christmas. He loves it! The graphics are good nintendo quality (for kids) and the characters are recognizable from their adult faces. He loves it..Little Lebron, Little Vince, and Little Dirk are dead on. It’s fun and easy for little ones. If you are looking for a challenge then stick with NBA live, but for little gamers this is a lot of fun. I gave it four stars because there is not much of a defensive component.
This was a Christmas present for my grandson. It is enough to say that he loved the game, and had to be told to put the DS away for a while.
My son plays all the time. Really enjoyable game. Have several games form Backyard Sports. This seems to be his favorite.

The game was a gift for my grandson. The shop expedited the shipping and got it to me before my grandson’s birthday. The shop provided all the original packaging as he stated and my grandson is having hours of fun playing this game. It works and functions like new.
