I recently rated AC Unity with a poor review and was compelled to give credit to this game. I loved everything about this game. The game play on both land and sea were amazing. The sea battles were epic and I loved getting supplies to better my ship. For land engagements and contracts I especially liked the addition of the blow gun because after all stealth is key to an assassin.
Great product
For Christmas I bought Advanced Warfare, Destiny, GTA V, The Last of Us, and Black Flag. Out of those five great titles, I find myself coming back to this one the most. Simply put, it’s entertaining and there’s always something to do. I will keep this one.
Fantastic pirate themed game. The open world is quite large, essentially the entire caribbean. Like any AC game, it can get pretty repetitive. However, I found there are enough different activities between main story, side story, bounties, sea battles, hunting, exploring, etc to keep me interested.
The ship to ship combat and taking of forts and towns make this game a good time but the main plot is horrible. Having to sneak around to listen to conversations is a terrible way to develop plot and it’s so boring. Oh, you couldn’t stay in that circle to hear that conversation? Time to hear the first part all over again!I gave this game four stars for the pirate atmosphere, naval combat and great graphics. It’s Grand Theft Auto on the high seas with bad writing.
I got the sound track to this game just for the sea shanties! No joke. Gameplay was great. I played both ps3 and ps4. Don’t go buy a ps4 just for this game, but if you have one get the ps4 version with an hd tv(cuz you know hdmi only from ps4) because it’s much more shiny! Sailing is beautiful in both games.
My grandson is into the playstation games…He was so happy to get this one as a gift. He played it all Christmas afternoon. He is competing with his friends to go to differnet levels…I can say…I do not understand any of it…but the teenage boys seem to know and understand the levels.
This is a great game for anyone who likes pirates/pirate adventures and/or anyone who’s a fan of the Assassin’s Creed series.
