worked great
The reason I like this game so much is that you can have real life war weapons and items and because Sarge is a cool buff and brave green plastic man the squad is cool but they dont beat Sarge! If you want cool weapons and items get Army Men Sarge’s Heros!!
I got this as a Christmas gift the year it came out and I couldn’t put down the controller! It was so much fun! The best part about the whole game (if I had to choose just one thing) would be the different environments at each level you have to fight in. You go through ice boxes & refrigerators (complete with ice cube trays and coke cans), across the dinner table with a ful course meal on it, and through a bedroom filled with a lot of cool things! The story line is great and the movies between each level are worth watching each time! The game is not extremely hard…much easier to maneuver then Army Men 3-D. I solved it pretty quick, but I have played it since to do it all over again and it still is a great game….THE BEST ARMY MEN GAME MADE!
Sarges Heroes is a really fun game. I’m sick of all of the extreme gamers complaining about the controls. They aren’t hard to get used to, and in spite of what they say, the game isn’t too short. If u think that this game is too much comedy and not enough war, than you are one odd person. This game is really fun and if you like fighting games that aren’t soley fighting, then I suggest u get this game.
A little over a year ago, I bought the three-pack Army Men Gold. Included in the pack was Sarge’s Heroes.Gameplay: Sarge’s Heroes, like most Army Men, is a third-person shooter. The first mission starts off on a bang with the Tan army invading the Green army’s base. The gameplay is pretty good, though I’ve seen better from Army Men. Its rather easy to die. Just take three steps into some water and you’ll die. Same thing if you fall too far. The camera can be a pain because it sometimes gets you into ridiculous positions. The loadtimes for the missions are bad as well. But the game really is enjoyable and fun. There’s a bit of platforming here and there, and the framerate is decent as well. The levels vary from forests, to snowy mountains, to gardens, to even the bathroom!Graphics: Sarge’s Heroes is one of prettiest looking Playstation games I own. Things have improved greatly since Army Men 3D. Though I think the plastic world levels looked better than the real world levels. The 17 CG cut-scenes are also beautiful and show just what the PS1 was capable of.Audio: The gun sound effects are good. I think Army Men 3D’s was better, but its not like the guns are annoying or anything. The music in the game is very good. I still think Sarge’s Heroes has some of the best music in the series. Some parts of it are humorous army toons, and then there’s some rock and roll… The soundtrack is definitely varied and is really good.Multi-player: If this is your first Army Men, you’re in for.
yea its great to get a game you grow up to and it still great game and very good buy
i bought this game for my child. it was offered at a great price and he has enjoyed playing the game from the time it arrived.
Who said all War Heroes are made of flesh and bone, standing tall? This war hero stands one inch tall and is made of Plastic. Those plastic soldiers you used to get by the bucketful are waging war, Tan vs. Green. Is this war one worth fighting, or are these flashbacks better off forgotten? Let’s find out.The story for Sarge’s Heroes is that the Tan and Green Armies are locked in a war, where the Tan army has the Green out manned and outgunned, but the Greens refuse to surrender. During a surprise attack on the green camp, Bravo Company, a squad hand picked by Sarge himself, has been captured. To make matters worse, the Evil General Plastro, leader of the Tan Army, has amassed an arsenal of otherworldly weapons. Sarge must destroy these weapons, rescue Bravo Squad, and stop Plastro’s plan for total Green destruction. The story is the basic “Beat the Bad guy save the day†kind of story but it works. For Gameplay, Sarge’s Heroes is a run and gun platformer, where Sarge must complete the objectives given to him. There’s an army of tan soldiers, ready to lay Sarge to waste, but Sarge is packing all kinds of heat. Here’s a quick breakdown of the weapons.Carbine: Standard issue weapon, with infinite ammo. Works great against the grunt enemies, but the stronger forces won’t think much of it.Machine Gun: Great for mowing down Tan soldiers, but ammo dries up fast.Grenade: A throwable explosive. Probably handy but I Never used it.Mortar: Again, a launchable explosive, but I ne.
thank you. pretty good shape
This is one of the last few action games a parent can still play with their child without all the blood and gore of the modern games. No, it doesn’t crazy awesome graffics or 3D images, but that is the simple beauty of it.The fact that many of the levels include areas in and around a common home makes it that much more clever. The garden, sandbox, kitchen and living room(s) are just a few of the levels that you must navigate and surpass during this simple, yet cleverly laid out game.
