As a younger person, I loved this game, for the ps1 it was beautiful and had so many great aspects. The graphics were great. (for the ps1) there was a great variety of planes. (even though the night raven is so tough to get). It had a great sense of combat and enemies. And overall this game had it all. I still play it today trying to get everything unlocked. But I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a good ps1 combat game.

This is a good game but it’s not as good as Ace Combat 2. AC2 missions were a bit more interesting and it’s definitely faster than 3. I enjoy the AC3 missions but the gameplay isn’t fast enough for me. This game does have better graphics though. You might enjoy part 2 better if you like speed but if you like graphics, then you want this one.
Considering I got a used copy for (dollar amount) I am thrilled with it. The graphics are excellent, the sound effects authentic, the electronic music score outstanding, and this game is an overall 9.5!! I never played any of the previous Ace Combat games, so I can’t say how much of an improvement this one is. Check it out!
Saw this for cheap, thought i’d get it since I like all the later iterations. Gameplay is the same good stuff that you’d expect of the series. Graphics aren’t all that, but the game is over a decade old and it’s a PS1 game, so what would you expect? There are a few glitches in terms of unlocking stuff ( the game seems to expect you to play it on easy first and then work your way up in difficulty, you’ll need to get an a rank on every level on every difficulty to unlock everything). Also, there are a couple levels that really aren’t that good and there are other really repetitive ones. Finally, it would’ve been nice if they had an ace difficulty like in other titles, because it will be pretty easy for some.
Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere is the best flight simulator ever made for the Sony Playstation. It has wonderful graphics. The cockpits are so real if you put your mind to it. It can be a very good game if you want to be a pilot someday.
