I love Abba, and what I can say about this game is that I found myself grinning like a goofball while dancing to the program. I think it’s good exercise if you do a number of routines, one after the other. 30 minutes of this is much healthier than 30 minutes on the couch! What would make this game even better is if they added the ability to watch the dancers from behind. I find it easier to learn routines that way, versus trying to mirror them.

I loved the “Mama Mia” movie, so I bought this to help me exercise longer and it does that. The music includes the great ABBA songs and I enjoy dancing to them. The graphics, however, are rather amateurish. I also have trouble figuring out the scoring system as it doesn’t seem to be consistent in scoring, but that’s not a big deal to me. Overall, I love this and would definately recommend it.
Out of all the Wii dvds I got this one is the most fun for me. My granddaughter thinks the moves are too old fashioned but they are fine for me.Love the music, challenging enough for me.
I wasn’t certain about buying this game, as the reviews were so-so. But, I’m older, and not in the best condition. After an unhappy visit with the doctor I decided to change my slothful ways & give it a go. ABBA is like The Carpenters…even if you don’t like them that much it’s amazing how many of their songs you actually know. It’s perfect for me. Easy moves, still got my heart rate up, following the model is an interesting exercise in hand/eye coordination. I imagine you get better as you learn the moves. I like that I didn’t have to go out into the cold to do it, nobody else was here to see what I look like when I dance except for the cat who took refuge under the chair. She probably thought I was having a seizure or something. I enjoyed it. I can’t really do the yoga bits on Wii fit & I find the cardio stuff kind of boring. So, this is something to put into the mix. If you’re looking for a way to ease into exercise you’ll do OK with this one.
Don’t deny it, you love it.I’ve always adored ABBA and this collection is a lot of fun – and sometimes funny. You get snippets of ABBA performing in some videos, and sometimes you get weird effects like in “Fernando,” which is my partner’s favorite. (He never hears the title now without imitating the sweeping hand motion.)If you like the “Just Dance” series, which I think is a little hit-and-miss, you’ll like this – plus the music is consistently great.
This is a traditional dance game. You can pick which of the dancers you want to be. It varies from 1 to 4 dancers. The music is ABBA so there really aren’t a lot of fast one. Also they aren’t terribly complex in their moves. But they are fun.It also has a karaoke mode with original videos. There is a musical track with a very loose story line. So that is another way to play. All the music is original.Only odd point is that they don’t have faces on the dancers. There is a slight impression, but not details. It is a bit odd. But after a bit you don’t notice.A great game if you like ABBA. My 2 year old son asks for it all the time! So not just for the older folks. *grin*
Got this the other day with Just Dance 1 and my daughter and her room mate came over to do laundry and we ended up playing this together til we were worn out. It was great fun, laughed and laughed and even though these girls are not too familiar with ABBA they were loving it, and we enjoyed it more than Just Dance 1, which had music they were more familiar with. it is very stylish and goofy and fun and not too difficult while still making you move. I do not know if we will ever talk one of the guys to play, but it was fun for us girls.
My two young sons (ABBA novices!) and I have enjoyed this game SO MUCH!! I sound like an old nerd signing along and they love to dance with me to try and beat their old Mom…NOT hard to do! ;-) If you like ABBA then this is a VERY FUN game for everyone…you will NOT be disappointed! If your a professional dancer it probably won’t be challenging (ha), but for the rest of us with two left feet, it’s just right! Buy this and ENJOY!!!
Haven’t had a lot of time to run through this game. It came quickly, which is always a huge plus for me. I love their music, so everything has to be pretty good. One thing I didn’t know about before purchasing this game was that it’s not just for dancing, there is kareoke also. Fun!
