Awesome game classic regular hockey game simple and fun and even a fighting mode absolutely a favorite
This game is as good as it gets far as a nes hockey game. Nothing really stands out in the game but it is perfect at the same time. The graphics are decent and the classic nintendo soundtrack rules. The only downfall of the game is the computer is very easy to beat, but I always played 2 players anyways. One aspect of the game that is unique to Blades of Steel is when you get in a fight the looser goes to the penalty box and the winner stays on. I have played this game alot and it never gets old!! if you are looking for a good hockey game for the nes forget about ice hockey and pick this one up.
