Got it for my kids who are really into Marvel characters and Blade is the next one in line. I watched them play it and its no where close to the graphics of today, but what do you expect during this time frame in technology. Its cool, but i bought the kids their PS3 after making the honor roll, so they are into that now. Overall, the game was cheap and it was cool while it lasted.

Unleash justice with exterme authority. Vampires. Relentless predators that stalk only one type of prey: humans. For countless generations there was very little to stand between mankind and the hungering darkness. Until now. He is Blade, the daywalker, and he’s the Vampires’ worst nightmare…I love this game. The day I bought this game I was hooked. I played it for four hours nonstop. The best thing about it was that it followed the movie. I beat this game the week after I purchased it. Since then, I played it again over 10 times. I love it. I recommend this game to anyone who loves Blade and vampire movies. Buy this game you won’t be disappointed. I wasn’t. It’s money well spent.

Do not listen to the haters. This game is a lot of fun. It is one of a handful of games, on the PS2, that I come back to time and time again. Unlike many games of its nature, it is not a copycat of the film it is named after. It takes some core elements of the film, but then combines them in a novel way. With this being said, while the reapers do appear in the game, they remain a minor element throughout. Vampires are the main focus of this game. There are certain limitations, such as having to earn your sword and choose only a certain number of trademark Blade weapons and items, which turn off some players, but they did not bother me all too much. Admittedly, you will have to do more fighting with your fists than anything which can get a little repetitive, however, I did not think it was too bad myself. Plus, it is cool because there are no complex combos to memorize and have to remember during the heat of battle. All you have to do is use the analog sticks rhythmically and remember to block. And, this by no means means that it is easy, it can be quite challenging, at times, especially when there are hordes of enemies. It is not not the most challenging game ever made, though it is not easy by any stretch of the imagination. Also, I would also warn that the game is rated "M" for good reason, so keep that in mind if you are buying it for a child. All and all, it is an awesome game and I highly recommend it.P.S. To those who hated this game, are you sur.
Trust me this will be the funnest game you’ve ever played, you will be playing this forever. It’s not just fun to play, but it’s fun to watch! If you love Blade, get this now, I’m I huge Blade Fan, so you can trust me on this, get it now! Oh and Whistler will have you laffing your head off! The controls are perfect for the game, easy to take on 5 to 8 vimpires!

Unique analog directional melee combat and you get to play as Blade. Must own ps2 title. Very well made game. Shooting is not very good its mostly auto aim or just spray in the direction you are facing which works for the shotgun pretty good but isn’t modern. Left analog controls the camera and movement and cannot reconfigure.
