Probably the best VR experience I have ever had.Doesnt make me sick (i am very prone to motion sickness) and it is very smooth to play.The cockpit experience is very cool – surpasses Eve by far.I highly recommend picking this up with your PS VR.

Battlezone is very true to its early 80s arcade roots which is a great thing but it comes with one huge drawback in comparison to most modern games on the market today. The difficulty on the easiest setting is insurmountable without the support of skilled online players. Playing solo or with inexperienced people online is futile. I enjoy hard games, love grueling titles like Dark Souls, but this game is both punishing and lacks progression. Every time you lose you start from 0. There is no building of resources or leveling up your tank. No working on the game until you are strong enough to take on the challenge. No saving enough in game currency to buy a weapon to help make it further after death. You run out of lives, its game over. Back to square one. As others have stated the game is very immersive. If you ever wanted to enter the movie Tron then this game might be for you. Just be aware that the title is extremely hard even on the lowest difficulty setting. You will die many times and have nothing but experience to show for it.Correction: You do unlock hundreds of weapons which will allow you to purchase them in subsequent campaigns. You can also unlock more powerful tanks by beating the game so there is some progression to be found, you do not really start from zero every time.
This is the first game I demoed for PSVR and also the first one I purchased. Totally worth the price, and the co-op mode is an awesome added bonus to its already obtained level of perfection. This game is fun, challenging and immersive. Graphics are great. No problems with tracking or motion sickness. The randomly generated campaign gives it endless re-playability. I’ve been playing all day and am now laying here in bed typing this review before I go to sleep and I’m wanting to go back to finish the next level of the campaign. Definitely the AAA game that PSVR needs. I’m not a huge gamer, maybe two hours a week if I’m lucky, but this game, and PSVR, are so awesome that my gaming habits will be changing! Haha.
Amazing feels pretty cool being in a tank in vr. Just be warned if you’re sensitive to motion sickness then this probably not for you. I got motion sickness for awhile playing this game but I eventually got used to it. But man I’m amazed where technology and gaming has become. I’d recommend playing it.
tough love
Been playing games since .. well, let’s just say I enjoyed this game in the Arcade. This is my #1 go-to "I feel like VR" game. I would say I play this 90% of the time, even though I own over 20 PSVR games. This game does EVERYTHING right. I just played .. and the final battle was AMAZING. I’ve won 5 or 6 times but this time I was down to my last shred of health on my last life, but I’d made good choices regarding purchasing weapons and I JUST scraped by for the win. SO immersive.. SO perfect. It just doesn’t get any better than this.
Love the tank battle scenario. Controls are intuitive and easy to pick up for the novice player. I did get a bit of motion sickness in VR mode, but not too bad.
Bought for my grandsons for Christmas…….they love the game. The order came very quickly, so I was pleased!
Imagine Tron tanks as a game and this is it. I am still getting used to VR, but I really love this game.
